BOBBY SANTOS, III LEADS WHELEN MODIFIED TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP CHARGE INTO
STAFFORD FOR TOWN FAIR TIRE 150
(Stafford Springs, CT)—As the Whelen Modified Tour returns to Stafford
Motor Speedway for the Town Fair Tire 150, the third of four stops for the
Tour in 2010, Bobby Santos, III sits ahead of three former series champions
in the chase for the 2010 title. Giving chase to Santos are 2008 champion
Ted Christopher, 2003 champion Todd Szegedy, and 7-time Tour champion Mike
Stefanik.
“Right now our goal is to win races,” said Santos. “I’ve never raced for
points before this year. At the start of this season, we were only focused
on winning races and that was how we were able to build up our points lead.
There’s no reason why we can’t continue to run up front and win races this
year.” (more…)
