OXFORD, Maine – With memories from the TD Bank 250 still fresh in the drivers’ minds, both the Acceleration Series and Championship Series divisions got a well-deserved week off from competition. Ste-Croix, QC – St-Felicien’s Karl Allard won his fourth Serie ACT Castrol Edge event of the season at Circuit Riverside Speedway in Ste-Croix, QC on Monday, July 26. Trever Rocke (63) survived to finish second, with Chad Turck (56) taking third.
Chief Starter and track Educational Director Ray Moses said that the word of the week was “Disappointment,” and this was something felt by a good many drivers this Sunday afternoon. One was James Capps of the Mods, whose #64 was running near the front much of the feature, but was involved in a wreck late in the race.
