Johnny Clark: PASS North Series
Thompson International Speedway Race Preview

PASS North Series points leader Johnny Clark of Farmingdale, Maine, rolls into round three of the PASS National Championship Series with the PASS 75 at Thompson International Speedway in Thompson, Conn., on Thursday, July 22. The .625-mile high-banked track is the nation’s oldest paved oval and also the largest facility the series visits. The 75-lap event counts as a points-paying event for both the five-race PASS National Series as well as the PASS North Series. Clark owns a 19-point lead over Ben Rowe in the PASS North standings, having posted six top-5 finishes through the first seven races — including a fifth-place run at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway last weekend. Clark is fourth through two events in the PASS National standings, 40 points behind North Carolina’s Preston Peltier, after finishing second in the season opener at New Smyrna Speedway in Florida and a disappointing 26th at Hickory, N.C., in April.

Joey Polewarczyk: ACT Late Model Tour – TD Bank Oxford 250

OXFORD, Maine — Joey Polewarczyk Jr. of Hudson, N.H., struggled with tire problems in the early going and finished 29th in the TD Bank Oxford 250 at Oxford Plains Speedway on Sunday, July 18. Polewarczyk started 13th and worked his way into the top-5 before a puff of smoke off his right front tire signaled a problem on lap 133. Seven laps later, Polewarczyk spun in turn two. After pitting and getting back into the race, he headed to pit road again — this time under the green flag — on lap 160. He was 28 laps down to winner Eddie MacDonald at the checkered flag.

Hudson Race Report July 18th racing

Hudson NH – Billy Ryder won the John Bourdelais Jr. Memorial race this past Sunday at Hudson International Speedway. Bourdelais Jr. was a fixture on his Dads racing team at Star Speedway. His days were spent working alongside his dad and his nights were spent in the garage with his dads race team or fishing and camping with his friends. Always quick with a joke, his easygoing nature is fondly remembered by his family and many friends. He had raced some Enduros and at the time of his death in a tragic traffic accident three years ago a brand new streeter was being built for him by the Bourdelais team.
