Johnny Clark Wins Father’s Day 150 At Unity Raceway
UNITY, Maine — Johnny Clark of Farmingdale, Maine, won his record-tying third straight PASS North Series race on Sunday, leading the final 114 laps virtually unchallenged en route to victory in the Father’s Day 150 at Unity Raceway.
The win was the fourth of Clark’s career at Unity, and his second on Father’s Day.
“It’s really kind of unbelievable,” said Clark, who now has 22 career series victories. “We were going for three in a row, and I figured we’d blow it here because everyone always expects us to be so good at this place. I didn’t know if we’d be able to pull it off.” (more…)

NEW ATTITUDE: Ramstrom Vows To Learn From Experience
WEST BOYLSTON, Mass. — Derek Ramstrom doesn’t want to play the nice guy anymore.
After his No. 35 Charter Communications/Matthews Truck Service and Towing Chevrolet spun while racing for the lead off the final corner of Thursday night’s 30-lap Super Late Model feature at Thompson International Speedway, Ramstrom said he’s finally reached his breaking point. He was credited with a 10th-place finish and was more upset by the loss of a possible victory than the loss of points toward a potential championship.

Beaudry Wins a Wild One at Whip City,
Mark Taylor Wins Once, Flips Once
BY MARK McKEON
WESTFIELD, MA – After blowing an engine while going for the lead in his last outing, Jamie Beaudry probably would have been satisfied with a third place finish this week in the 1200cc Mini Sprint feature. Instead, he found himself in victory lane when leaders Paul Rose and Mark Taylor crashed during a restart. Taylor got the worst of it, flipping and cartwheeling down the front stretch. Pat Potter also flipped in the same accident.
“After we blew the engine, all we had left was a stock 1000cc, and that’s what we ran with tonight,” Beaudry said. “We got lucky tonight, but we were unlucky last time, so now we’re even.”
It was an Otis Elevator night for Taylor. Prior to his grinding flip in the 1200cc feature, he had won the 750cc main event. (more…)
