(September 16, 2014) – NASCAR, Front Row Motorsports, Kyle Busch Motorsports and Martinsville Speedway announced today they will honor 2015 NASCAR Hall of Fame Inductee Wendell Scott, the first African-American driver to win a NASCAR premier series event, with a series of tributes during the Martinsville race weekend from Oct. 24-26.

Randy Cabral is a one man thrill show. He didn’t disappoint the fans at Oswego Speedway on Sunday night with his demonstration of driving skills and speed on the way to his fifth win of the season.
Cabral of Kingston, MA tracked down Mendon, MA driver John Zych and passed him on the final turn to win the 25 lap NEMA midget feature, part of the Race Of Champions Weekend at Oswego. The midgets had waited over 24 hours to run their event, after being rained out on Saturday. They ran an abbreviated program without heats and only one round of practice.

CHARLOTTE, NC (September 17) – Entering the 2014 Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South Super Late Model campaign, Brandon Setzer had high hopes for success. But the season, did not start out the way he had hoped. Motor problems at Greenville-Pickens and Hickory, coupled with an accident at Dillon, had Setzer mired far back in the standings. But a mid-season switch from his family owned team to the potent Dick Woodman Racing entry saw Setzer score back-to-back podium finishes at Ace and Southern National. Since then, Setzer has returned to the family team and the good runs have continued. He now sits seventh in PASS South Super Late Model points, just 34 points out of the top five as the series prepares for this weekend’s Over The Mountain 150 at Hickory Motor Speedway.

WEST HAVEN, VT – Devil’s Bowl Speedway crowned its 2014 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series champions during a busy and picturesque Sunday afternoon at the Mekkelsen RV Vermont 200 Championship Weekend. Todd Stone and Robert Gordon became two-time champions on the asphalt, while Jamie Fisher and Chuck Bradford each celebrated their first titles.
