DETROIT (Sept. 16, 2014) – Corvette Racing and Corvette Daytona Prototypes head deep in the heart of
Texas this weekend for the Lone Star Le Mans race and the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship at
Circuit of The Americas. It is the second-to-last round of the TUDOR Championship, and both the Prototype and GT Le Mans (GTLM) standings reflect a heavy Corvette flavor.

The starting field for the 6th annual Bond Auto ACT Invitational at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) on Saturday, September 20, 2014 has been set. The sixth edition of the event will have the American Canadian Tour (ACT) introducing fans to a promising future for regional Late Model short track stock car racing. Veteran champions and former NHMS winners Eddie MacDonald, Rowley, MA; Joey Polewarczyk, Jr. (Pole), Hudson, NH; Ray Parent, Tiverton, RI; and Brian Hoar, Williston, VT have all won events at the “Magic Mile”. This year there are lots of young emerging stars who will challenge the veterans.

The Benjamin Motorports team came into this past weekend with a lot of momentum on there side after winning the Oxford 250 and finishing 3rd at Speedway 95 in there last two races. So the team had very high hopes of winning at the RE/Max 250. After practice the team was as high as second on the speed charts and after starting 6th in the qualifying race and finishing 2nd the team was really excited to get the 250 underway. The forcast didn’t look good and the rains came and the team would have to wait till Monday morning to get the race underway.

SOUTH PLATTSBURGH, NY – Bobby Therrien gave the northeastern stock car racing world a bit of a surprise on Sunday afternoon by winning the 50-lap Northern Modified Challenge Series event at Airborne Park Speedway. Typically a top performer in full-fender Late Models on the American-Canadian Tour, Therrien held off the field to win in his first open-wheel start of the season.
