150 Laps of the Best Racing of the Season!
This Saturday at 7PM, the Best of the Best Pro Stock 150 highlights racing action at Speedway 660. In addition to one of the biggest pro stock races of the season, fans will also see competition in four other exciting divisions.
“The Best of the Best 150 is one of our most exciting events of the year and there will be a strong field of competitors from our RE/MAX Group Four Realty Pro Stock Division, plus this race always generates interest from the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour and Pro All Star Series race teams” said Speedway 660’s Michelle Roy. “The winner gets more than a trip to the Riverview Ford Lincoln Victory Lane on Saturday night, they’ll get an guaranteed starting position in the Auto Value 250, coming up on SpeedWeekend.”

At 7PM on Saturday night, Speedway 660 presents the second ENDURO 200 of the 2013 racing season. It’s the only ENDURO of the season to run on a Saturday night.
“ENDURO drivers look forward to putting on a great show for our fans every time they roll out on the track, but the action will really get wild when they race under the lights this Saturday night” said Speedway 660’s Michelle Roy. “This is the one night of the racing season that we turn Speedway 660 over to the ENDURO drivers and they really look forward to thrilling our fans with their exciting brand of racing.”
Round one of this season’s ENDURO series went to the Mercer boys, who are the defending point champions. Cousins Chuck and Clifford Mercer, from Norton, split the driving duties of the number two Enduro car. Brody Seveck, from Temperance Vale had a strong run to finish second and rookie Nathan Madore brought his machine home third in the June 30th ENDURO.

(Halifax, NS, July 17, 2013) The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour returns to Riverside International Speedway this Saturday, July 20th for the prestigious IWK 250 presented by Steve Lewis Auto Body. This marquee event will feature current NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion Brad Keselowski. Thirty-four drivers from five Canadian provinces and two states in the U.S. have pre-registered for the event with a purse of more than $93,000. The IWK 250 will mark round seven of 12 in the chase for the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour Championship. Grandstand gates and box office for the IWK 250 open at 12:00 PM; Atlantic Tiltload Time Trials will get underway at 3:30 PM followed by an on-track autograph session and concert. Pre-race festivities start at 7:00 PM.
NASCAR champ Keselowski will work a rare off-weekend from his No. 2 Miller Lite Ford ride in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series to make an even more rare start at the IWK 250. Keselowski will pilot the No. 13K Cat Car for Kids this Saturday. The Cat Car for Kids program, presented by Atlantic Cat, was initiated in 2008. Prior to race day the car and Keselowski will visit the IWK Health Centre where patients and their families can sign the car as co-sponsors; the annual visit has become a ‘signature’ event on the hospital calendar. The IWK 250 has raised awareness and more than $130,000 for the IWK Health Centre since 2007.

Dany Trepanier Takes Victory in Riverside Twin 75s
St-Croix, QC – Dany Trepanier of St-Edouard, Quebec claimed the overall Série ACT win in front of his hometown crowd at Circuit Riverside Speedway on Saturday, July 13. Trepanier used a win and a 4th in the twin 75-lap segments to earn the overall win with a score of 5. He bested current Série ACT point leader Donald Theetge, while Jean-François Déry completed the podium.
Trepanier claimed the win in the first segment of the event after starting on the pole. He held off Patrick Cliche and Donald Theetge through six restarts in segment one. He then climbed his way from 12th in the second segment to finish 4th and claim the overall win. The second segment also saw six caution periods.
Patrick Cliche continued his strong season with 4th overall followed by Steven Boissonneault. Etienne Cliche picked up 6th, veteran Claude Leclerc 7th, while Alex Labbe rebounded from a rough first segment to win the second segment and claim 8th. Patrick Hamel and rookie driver Martin Goulet, Jr. completed the top ten.

TUCKER TRIUMPHS IN THE FAST EDDIE RACEWEAR 100 AT PETTY RACEWAY SATURDAY NIGHT
(Moncton, NB, July 13, 2013) – Shawn Tucker of Fredericton took home his first victory of the season by holding off all comers on a restart with three laps remaining to capture the Fast Eddie Racewear 100. The win is Tucker’s first career victory at Petty Raceway and the 19th of his career on the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour. Tucker, in the #52 Rockico Equipment Impala, crossed the line first ahead of Jonathan Hicken of Brudenell, PE, and Dylan Gosbee of Cornwall, PE. Darren MacKinnon (Charlottetown, PE) had to settle for fourth on the night with point leader John Flemming (Halifax, NS) completing the top five in the Fast Eddie Racewear 100.

Cooper Captures Street Stock Feature at Speedway 660
Heidi Cooper won the DMR Auto Sales & Service Street Stock main event at Speedway 660 on Saturday night. Cooper beat Roger Slocum in one of the tightest finishes in the history of racing in the Geary Woods. According to the electronic transponders, used to score the race cars, Cooper crossed the stripe three hundreds of a second ahead of Slocum.
“That was an unbelievable finish and I am really proud to bring this race car into the Riverview Ford Lincoln Victory Lane” said Cooper. “I gave Roger the inside lane and he raced me clean for the last few laps and it was so close at the finish line that neither of us actually knew who won the race.”
