LUCAS OIL 150 SET TO LAUNCH 2013 PRO STOCK TOUR SEASON THIS SUNDAY AT SCOTIA SPEEDWORLD
(Halifax, NS, May 15, 2013) The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour will open another sensational season of stock car racing this Sunday at Scotia Speedworld with the Lucas Oil 150. The season opener will launch the 12-race schedule that will take the Tour to five Maritime markets over the next 17 weeks. Thirty of the best teams from across the region are expected to battle for a spot in Sunday’s feature event. Qualifying for the Lucas Oil 150 gets underway at 3:10 PM with racing slated for 4:00 PM. Grandstands gates open at 1:00 PM.

More Motor Events Schedules for CFS in 2013
May 12, 2013 – CFS is pleased to announce its most recent additions to the 2013 Motor Sports Schedule of events. In addition to the Stock Car Specials and Monster Nationals previously announce CFS is now adding 2 Demolition and Full contact events. Both events will take place on long weekends including an event on the Canada Day Weekend on June 29th and Labour Day Weekend on August 31st.

April 28, 2013 – CFS is pleased to announce this years dates for the Atlantic MONSTER Nationals. For ther first time the CENTRE will host its MONSTER Nationals event on Friday August 9th and Saturday August 10th. Among the trucks performing at the event will be HIGHER EDUCATION, IRON WARRIOR and others TBA. The show is expected to include Jet Quads and other elements for the first time. Other acts and trucks are to be announced in the coming days. Fans can save on Early Advance tickets until June 1st and then on Advance tickets till July 1st by visiting the speedways online store at centreforspeed.com. Fans can contact the CENTRE at 506 388-2415 with any questions. Modifieds Set To Roll At International 500 – Full Schedule Announced

Waterbury, VT – As American Canadian Tour Late Model teams from across New England and Eastern Canada prepare for the biggest showdown of the summer at the International 500 at Airborne Speedway on Sat/Sun, July 20/21, another division prepares for battle: Airborne Speedway’s own Ernie Tool’s Modified division.
The Plattsburgh, NY Speedway’s headline division, which consists of the thunderous 358 Modified cars, will pound the pavement for twin 50-lap events with the lowest point total taking the victory. The winner will take home a cool $3,000: the biggest purse of the Modified’s season at Airborne. It will serve as a key mid-summer points race towards their 2013 championship hopes. (more…)
ACT Announces 2013 Série Castrol Schedule
Waterbury, VT – Following a joint meeting of all participating Quebec promoters and the American Canadian Tour, the 2013 Série ACT Castrol schedule has been announced. Along with significant bonuses and increases in purse, the 11-race schedule will include races at Autodrome Montmagny, Circuit Riverside, Autodrome St Eustache, Sanair Super Speedway, and Autodrome Chaudière.
The season will boast the richest purses in Série ACT Castrol history with over $400,000 being offered, and will include an $80,000 point fund for teams that participate in 100% of the events. $20,000 will be awarded to the Série ACT Castrol Champion. Another $70,000 in tire bonus money will be spread evenly throughout teams that participate in the full schedule.
