(Stafford Springs, CT)—The Wild Thing Kart Series at Stafford Speedway has
served as a breeding ground for young racers. Kyle Spencer, Kyle
Casagrande, and Cory Casagrande are all products of the series, which just
completed its fifth season on the Stafford mini-mile. Austin Bessette,
Dylan Kopec, Brandon Michael, and Jesse Ruocco will graduate to the
half-mile in 2011 making the Wild Thing Kart Series a stomping ground for

CARQUEST CHAMPIONS FOR CHARITIES HIGHLIGHTS EXTREME TUESDAY EVENT

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Motor Speedway along with CARQUEST Auto
Parts are constantly searching for innovative ways to be involved in the
community through local charitable organizations and 2011 will be no
different with the addition of the CARQUEST Champions for Charities race
event. This special event, which is set to accompany the 8th Annual CARQUEST
Extreme Tuesday event on June 28, 2011, will be an invitation only format
that will pair charitable organizations with talented open-wheel champions
from the past and the present. Stafford Speedway and CARQUEST will post a

STAFFORD SPEEDWAY COMPETITORS TAKE HOME $35,500 IN 2010 POST-SEASON AWARDS

(Stafford Springs, CT)—With the 2010 Stafford Motor Speedway NASCAR Racing
season in the history books, it is time once again for competitors to be
rewarded for their season-long efforts through the Stafford Motor Speedway
point fund and track contingency awards. At the end of each racing season,
Stafford Motor Speedway pays out 5% of its total purses for the year as a
point fund for the top-15 points finishers in each of its five weekly
divisions. The 2010 Stafford Motor Speedway point fund totaled in excess of
$19,000 with track champions Keith Rocco, Ryan Posocco, Matt Galko, Dan
Flannery, and Tony Membrino, Jr. taking home the lion’s share of their

(Stafford Springs, CT)—During the 2010 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series
season at Stafford Motor Speedway, drivers took home an extra $30,575 in
contingency bonuses. Of that total, $28,375 came from Stafford Motor
Speedway’s Contingency Program, while Reliable Welding and Speed’s
sponsorship of the track’s Rookie of the Year Program totaled another

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Motor Speedway 2011 Season Tickets are
available and on sale now, but time is running out to take advantage of the
track’s early bird discounts on all of its season ticket packages. After
December 15, all season tickets will increase in price. Season Ticket
options for the 2011 racing season at Stafford Motor Speedway include
Paddock Passes, Stadium Chair-Back Reserved, Top Row Reserved, General
Admission, and the Stafford Motor Speedway Kids Club. Each season ticket
option includes admission to all 2011 NASCAR and ISMA Racing events at

DUANE PROVOST WINS RELIABLE WELDING AND SPEED LIMITED LATE MDOEL ROOKIE OF
THE YEAR HONORS AT STAFFORD SPEEDWAY

(Stafford Springs, CT)—After five seasons in Stafford’s DARE Stock
division, Duane Provost made a successful transition to the Limited Late
Model division and he secured the Reliable Welding and Speed Rookie of the
Year title with 14 top-10 finishes in 21 starts with a best finish of 5th.
Heading into the 2010 season, Provost had five years of DARE Stock
experience at Stafford to lean on, but he quickly found out that he was
dealing with a totally different car than he was accustomed to in the DARE
