Timmons Earning His Racing Stripes At Beech Ridge
FALMOUTH, Maine – Bobby Timmons is showing that he’s a quick study.
Timmons, 19, had never driven anything more than go-karts and Legend cars before this month, but the up-and-coming talent on the New England stock-car circuit is quickly adapting to life in a Super Late Model. Timmons has just three career starts at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway, but he’s already opening eyes.

Going into the final T.N.T Legends race of the season at BRMS, Evan Beaulieu was 3 points behind Kevin Hutchinson. Starting the race in the rear of the field, the 56 legend car quickly made its way to mid pack, when a wreck took out most of the leaders including the #27 car of Hutchinson.

The Thursday Thunder series came to a close this past week at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway. With just three points separating leader Kevin Hutchens and second place Evan Beaulieu, this was one of the closest battles for the championship that the series has ever seen. Along with the points battle, there was plenty of drivers who were looking for a win before the season ended. For the final time in 2011, the Legends took the track for what was set to be a fantastic close to the season.

Scarborough,Maine- Following 3 straight second place finishes, Saturday night Aaron Ricker was to be denied no more as the young driver scored his first Pro Series win at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway. The headline division of the NASCAR All American Series fielded 20 cars on Saturday night with Ricker starting from position 16. Tyler King led the opening 3 laps before yielding to Steve Carrier following a lap 4 caution flag. Carrier would stay out front until lap 10 when Joey Doiron slipped into the lead using the inside line. While all of this was going on, Ricker had moved through traffic to be third by lap 17. On lap 19, Ricker dismissed Carrier for second place and set his sights on Doiron. (more…)

Bill Rodgers wins Pro Series at Beech Ridge in thrilling style.
Scarborough,Maine-Bill Rodgers won the Pro Series 40 lap main event on Saturday night at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in a drag race to the finish line on the final lap. Getting to the point was a journey though as Rodgers started deep in the 18 car field. Steve Jones jumped from the pole position to lead the opening 18 laps as Bob Gahan was never more than a foot off from his rear bumper. (more…)
