Oxford, ME. – ACT Late Model Series Driver #97 Joey Polewarczyk Jr of Hudson N.H. readies himself to return to one of his favorite tracks that the American-Canadian Tour visits each year, Oxford Plains Speedway.

Joey and crew started 2011 with winning the Inaugural Goodyear Speedweeks Cup in Florida and then it’s been up and down since then.

JIM CARR TAKES TRUCK SERIES EVENT AT SPEEDWAY 95

Jim Carr Jr. of Clifton continued his domination of the pick up truck division at Speedway 95 on Wednesday night as he wired the 25 lap series feature. Carr started on the pole for the event by virtue of winning the qualifying race, and quickly moved to the front. Peter Drake of Corinth, back from a two week absence while a new motor was installed in his truck hung close to Carr throughout the race, but couldn’t muster enough speed to make a pass. Drake finished in second, followed by Dana Harlow of Bucksport who outdueled David Gray of Orrington over the final 10 laps for the third position. Gray finished in fourth after surviving an earlier attack from Anthony Moore, who was disqualified from the event for his actions in front of the grandstand. Mike Lynch of Winterport finished fifth in his first appearance of the season.

Mini Stock race was won by a hard-charging Chris Williams, while the Street Stock race feature a classic side-by-side battle between Chris Meyer and Al Stone. Meyer regained the lead late to take the win.

Kyle Busch Looks to Continue Winning Ways at New Hampshire Motor Speedway

LOUDON, N.H. (June 22, 2011) -When NASCAR races into New Hampshire Motor Speedway fans can bet Kyle Busch will be a factor to capture at least one checkered flag during the LENOX Industrial Tools 301 weekend, July 15-17.

In just seven years of racing on “The Magic Mile,” Busch has claimed five wins, two of which came last year. He became the first ever repeat winner in the NASCAR Nationwide Series at NHMS in 23 races. When NASCAR returned in September, Busch also dominated the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race, winning both the pole and 175-lap event.

Valenti Modified Series Ready For Stafford Springs Friday

Canaan, N.H. — The Valenti Modified Racing Series returns to Connecticut this week for the first of two appearances at the famed Stafford Springs Motor Speedway. The Friday night, June 24, program marks the second time the New England touring series for
modified race cars will appear at the half-mile oval.

The 80-lap feature race, presented by Lincoln Technical Institute, is also the second
qualifying event for the Ricky’s Race For Kids 112-lap race next month at Canaan Fair
Speedway, Canaan, NH.

NASCAR WHELEN MODIFIED TOUR RETURNS TO THOMPSON ON JUNE 30TH.

THOMPSON, CT. The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour will make its second stop of the year at the Thompson International Speedway on Thursday, June 30th for the BUDWEISER 150. This special event marks the return of the WMT to Thompson for a June race.

The BUDWEISER “KING OF BEERS” 150 will be 5th race of the season for the most popular touring series in the northeast. NASCAR’s best open wheel race teams and drivers make up the impressive roster of competitors and all are expected to be in attendance for the Bud 150. (more…)
