LOUDON, N.H. (June 22, 2011) -The 2011 Daytona 500 Champion Trevor Bayne is set to be this year’s key-note speaker at the 19th annual New Hampshire Motor Speedway Governors Breakfast on Friday, July 15.
Driver of the No. 16 Roush Fenway Racing Ford in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, Bayne launched his way into stardom by winning this year’s Daytona 500. The 20 year old also drives part-time for the veteran Sprint Cup Series team Wood Brothers Racing. (more…)
LOUDON, N.H. (June 22, 2011) -When NASCAR races into New Hampshire Motor Speedway fans can bet Kyle Busch will be a factor to capture at least one checkered flag during the LENOX Industrial Tools 301 weekend, July 15-17.
In just seven years of racing on “The Magic Mile,” Busch has claimed five wins, two of which came last year. He became the first ever repeat winner in the NASCAR Nationwide Series at NHMS in 23 races. When NASCAR returned in September, Busch also dominated the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race, winning both the pole and 175-lap event. (more…)
Shaun Buffington took his fourth checkered flag in as many races at NHMS in a road course race in the 88th Loudon Classic. Evan Beaulieu finished second and Mathew Bourgoine third.
Hudson NH – Defending Outlaw Sportsmen champion Geoff Rollins picked up his second win in as many races on a picture perfect Fathers Day at Hudson International Speedway on June 19th. Long-time racer Matt “Junk Yard Dawg” Bosowski led the opening laps until 14 year old Derek Griffith grabbed the top spot. Rollins had rolled into second place by lap five and gave chase to Griffith. Rollins smoked his outside rear tire off every corner while closing in on Griffith who was starting to overheat. Rollins got beside Griffith going down the back chute and was able to complete the pass on the next lap. (more…)
