Hudson NH –Hudson Speedway opened its doors for its 64th consecutive season of auto racing this past Sunday May 22nd with Billy Clement Jr., Justin Beecher, and Johnny Reefer all finding their way to victory lane.
Bob Riopelle had the pole position and took the lead at the drop the green flag of the Rookie Stock feature and held the top spot for the first few laps. Clement Jr. made his way up from the third starting spot to challenge Riopelle for the lead and took to the outside groove and made the pass for the lead a lap later. Clement held the top spot from that point until the finish in the caution free event. Riopelle held off several challenges and came home second. John Morin Jr. also had a podium finish coming in third place. Dan Murphy Jr. had a bumpy fourth place finish and Corrie Merritt finished fifth. After Merritt it was Jerry ‘No Brakes’ Lepage, Scotty Duval, Bill Fiske, Jim Junior, Keith ‘Slika’ Ennis, C.J. McLaughlin, Mike McHugh and Ryan Joyce. (more…)

THE STORY
Joey Doiron of Berwick, Maine, heads back to one of his best PASS North Series tracks when the series competes in the PASS 150 at White Mountain Motorsports Park in North Woodstock, N.H., on Saturday, May 21. Doiron collected one of his five career Top-10 finishes in this race a year ago, and he’s looking for a second straight Top-10 finish after finishing 10th with a destroyed race car last weekend at Star Speedway. He had a sure Top-5 finish erased in a last-lap accident at Star that sidelined his primary car for this weekend.
N. Woodstock, N.H.- Pro All-Star Series Driver #97 Joey Polewarczyk Jr of Hudson N.H. will make his second consecutive start in the Super Late Model Series, when they visit the extremely fast quarter-mile White Mountain Motorsports Park (WMMP) this Saturday, May 21, 2011
Polewarczyk Jr, coming off his Career best third place finish at Star Speedway on May 14, looks to continue with his recent success in the Series. “We felt that getting the podium finish at Star was a weight lifted off our shoulders. Lonnie Sommerville of Saint John, New Brunswick, looks to keep his momentum rolling when the PASS North Series competes in the PASS 150 at White Mountain Motorsports Park in North Woodstock, N.H., on Saturday, May 21. Sommerville is coming off a fourth-place finish at Star Speedway in Epping, N.H, and the Mulkern Racing driver sits third in the series points after the first two races of the season.
