D.J. Shaw; Ryan Lynch To Pilot Spraker Racing Enterprises Entries At Iowa Speedway

MOORESVILLE, North Carolina (May 18, 2011) – – 21-year old D.J. Shaw of Conway, New Hampshire will pilot the No. 37 Spraker Racing Enterprises Chevrolet Impala Pork Be Inspired 175 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East / West Challenge presented by Tompkins Industries at Iowa Speedway.

Shaw, the son of former NASCAR K&N Pro Series East champion Dale Shaw finished sixth last season in the championship standings piloting his No. 60 Precision JLM Chevrolet Impala courtesy of one top-five and six top-10s, but will make his first start for veteran Spraker Racing team this weekend. NAPLES ME (5/17) The thunder will roll Saturday evening when the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North super late models kick off White Mountain Motorsports Park’s 2011 racing season, a track that’s a favorite stop for PASS racers and race fans alike.

NEMST – Star Speedway Recap

While the weather was not near as nice as opening day at Beech Ridge the Texas Roadhouse North East Mini Stock Tour rolled into the newly reopened Star Speedway in Epping, NH. Fighting a bleek forecast many teams from all over New England made the trek to the southern New Hampshire speedway.

Practices started off early and had much excitement with many teams having trouble with mechanical problems including Emerson Cayer having a broken steering rack. As the cars rolled through pre race technical inspection teams drew for their heat starting position. Two heat races were held for the 18 mini stocks at Star with the Volkswagens showing the pace. Calvin Rose won the first heat and Loren Smith negotiated the win from the second heat.

Buffington Continues Dominance, Wins at NHMS

The Amsoil Nelcar Legends Tour was back in the granite state this past weekend, at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The last time the tour showed at the quarter mile, it was Shaun Buffington who dominated the event and took home the checkered flag. If Buffington wanted to continue his dominance, he’d have to beat out some of the best Legends Cars drivers in the North East.

RESULTS FOR LEE USA SPEEDWAY FOR FRIDAY, MAY 13, 2011

Lee, NH – Lee USA Speedway continued the regular season for its weekly NASCAR Whelen All-American Series competitors on Friday night, with a Northeast Classic Lites event added to the action-packed feature event lineup.

The headlining Benson Lumber and Hardware-sponsored Whelen All American Series Small Block Supers went green with another solid 16-car field, and it was outside pole starter Matt Seavey gaining the advantage to set the pace in the early going.
