Devil’s Bowl Speedway Drivers Ready for World Series in Florida

stone_thiering_51NEW SMYRNA BEACH, FL – Devil’s Bowl Speedway may be buried under three feet of snow in chilly Vermont, but that won’t stop three of its regular stock car competitors from firing their engines. Todd Stone, Emily Packard, and Brandon Atkins are ready to compete in the 49th annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna Speedway during Florida Speedweeks, February 13-21, with both the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series and the American-Canadian Tour.

Emily Packard Ready to Head to Florida

dfhfyhfgEAST MONTPELIER, Vt. – With winter in full swing here in New England, Emily Packard and her 9x Northstar Fireworks/Packard Fuels team are ready to head south for the inaugural ACT American Racer Challenge at New Smyrna Speedway this weekend. Packard has never raced the high banked half mile oval but is looking forward to starting off the season here. “I can’t wait for the start of the season; it’s been a long winter,” Packard said. “I have heard a lot of great things about the New Smyrna Speedway and I am excited to be racing the half mile track, I like the bigger tracks like that.”

Laperle Brothers Enter ACT New Smyrna February Challenge Cup

LaperleWaterbury, VT – The Laperle Brothers race team from Montreal, Quebec have entered the ACT American Racer Challenge Cup to be contested at the New Smyrna Speedway (NSS) in New Smyrna Beach, Florida on Monday and Tuesday, February 16-17, 2015. That brings the ACT field for the winter showdown at the World Series of Racing to a total of twenty-eight (28) entrants from throughout New England and Quebec.

Griffith set to compete in the 2015 New Smyrna Speedway Red Eye 100

Derek-Griffith-PhotoNew Smyrna Beach, FL – Derek Griffith, the standout driver from New Hampshire will travel to the Sunshine state to compete at the historic New Smyrna Speedway (NSS) in the 2015 Red Eye 100.
The Red Eye, is the recongnized as the first Super Late Model race of the new year and has a rich history of very talented drivers winding up in victory lane. Griffith will pilot his No. 12 MOM’s of Manchester/LCM Racing Toyota Camry in what he hopes is a tune-up as the teenager will also compete in the NSS Speedweeks in mid-February as well.
