Canaan, N.H. – -Two traditional race events, popular with fans and competitors alike, will determine the 2011 Valenti Modified Racing Series championship.
As in past years, the run to the title could be claimed this weekend, Oct 8 and 9, at Seekonk Speedway. Seekonk, MA., at the annual “DAV Fall Classic,” or Oct 22, and 23 at New Hampshire’s Lee USA Speedway as part of that track’s 25th annual “Oktoberfest” weekend.

The management of Kraze Korlacki Speed Equipment & Seekonk Speedway, announce the re-scheduling of the Racing Against Cancer 100 from Saturday to Sunday at 2pm. This change is made based on a review of all available weather data, and in full consideration and concern for our race fans and competitors. We ask that all who receive this to please share with all your friends by e-mail, Facebook, Twitter, etc. The track walk will proceed as scheduled unless changed by Racing Against Cancer; please check their web-site. The schedule for Sunday is the pits open at 9am; front gate at 11:30, practice at 12 noon, and the race program begins at 2pm. Claims first Seekonk win
Seekonk MA (8/6) Johnny Clark cleared Joey Polewwarcyzk with seven to go in Saturday night’s Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North 150 at Seekonk (MA) Speedway to earn his fifth series win of 2011. Derek Ramstrom raced past Pole to claim second on lap148 and Pole ended his night third.

The Benjamin Motorsports team went into Seekonk Speedway with high hopes of a good run after battling for the lead in 2010 and having a flat tire. This years results were about the same. Travis and team set the fastest time in practice so everyone was excited to get the race underway.
