Dave Richardi Goes Pole to Checker at Seekonk Speedway
Seekonk, Ma- October 9, 2010- The RF Logic/ Bot- L Gas Pro Four Modifieds set pace at this weekend’s DAV Fall Classic at Seekonk Speedway. The Pro Fours were the first feature of the night, and put on quite a show. Dave Richardi and Phil Lausier brought the field to the green. As they took off #10 Brian Vincent got a little squirrely allowing Adam Norton to sneak under. After regaining pace, Vincent was able to get back by Norton and settle into single file.

Seekonk, Mass. – Jon McKennedy, of East Chelmsford, MA, moved closer to a
potential championship Sunday as he won the 100 lap Modified Racing Series, DAV
Fall Classic, at the Seekonk Speedway, Seekonk, MA. The race was McKennedy’s
third win and his 10th career victory with the New England based touring division, sponsored by Bob Valenti AutoMall.Com. McKennedy started on the pole and led the entire event. He also became the seventh different winner of the annual race at Seekonk.

RACING AGAINST BREAST CANCER
SEEKONK, MA- Modified Racing Series reigning champion, and current point’s leader Jon McKennedy, has filed his Super Modified entry for this Saturday’s Racing Against Breast Cancer, at Seekonk Speedway. Driving the # 79 Dunigan Super Modified, Jon will return to ISMA, after a two year absence, where he was the 2005 Rookie of the Year. McKennedy will return to the track that he first competed at in a Super Modified. “Seekonk is a great race track and I always enjoy racing there. This should be a lot of fun and it supports a great cause”, said Jon from his home in Chelmsford, Ma. (more…)

Seekonk DAV Race Launches Modified Racing Series Title Chase
Seekonk, Mass – – Following a three week break in the schedule, the Modified Racing Series, sponsored by Bob Valenti AutoMall.Com, returns to action October 9, & 10, when the famed Seekonk, Speedway, Seekonk, MA., features it’s annual two-day D.Anthony Venditti Fall Classic. Again this year, the Seekonk event kicks off the final three races of the season with a hotly contested battle-taking place for the 2010 series championship. The chase to the title will also include races at Twin State Speedway, Claremont, NH., and Lee USA Speedway, Lee, NH., later this month.
Defending series champion, Jon McKennedy, of Chelmsford, MA, a winner at Seekonk last year, brings a brand new racecar into the mix and a 17-point lead over 2006 series champion, Dwight Jarvis, of Ascutney, Vermont. Rowan Pennink, of Huntingdon Valley, PA., is 33 points back, in third, with Windsor Locks, CT., veteran Les Hinckley, currently fourth, 42 points out of first place.
