EVEL KNIEVEL’S GRANDAUGHTER TO RACE AT
SEEEKONK’S RACING AGAINST BREAST CANCER
SEEKONK, MA. – Kraze Korlaki Speed Equipment, Inc., and Seekonk Speedway jointly
announce the registration of legendary daredevil/stuntman “Evel Knievel’s” granddaughter in the New England Powder-Puff Championship Race as part of Racing Against Breast Cancer on October 2nd at the famous Cement Palace. Kryston Knievel, of Chicago, Ill., Evel’s granddaughter, will drive the #1 powder-puff entry, as one of two prepared mounts from Charlestown, RI.’’ This is my first attempt at competing in any type of auto racing which should be a lot of fun while supporting a cause which has affected many people I know”, said Kryston by telephone from Chicago. In addition to competing in the powder-puff race, Kryston will also be singing the National Anthem during opening ceremonies. Kryston’s first experiences singing the National Anthem began at a young age singing at opening ceremonies for her daredevil father Kaptain Robbie Knievel, and have continued professionally as a singer of the National Anthem for the Chicago Bulls Basketball Team, and as a lead singer with the Chicago band De Javu. An original “Evel Knievel” custom chopper ’ will be on display during the event. Seekonk Speedway has planned a practice session for the powder-puff teams during their last Fast Friday Race Night on September 24th, beginning at 6pm. Anderson Picks Up First Pro-4 Win at Seekonk Speedway
Seekonk, Ma – September 4, 2010 – With 19 carts on hand, the RF Logic/Bot-L Gas Pro Four Modifieds looked to put on a great show at Seekonk Speedway for their third visit to track this season. Tyler Anderson and Adam Norton took down wins in their respected heat races. Before the first took the initial green in the main event, #07x of Dave Maynard and #49 of Joe Lemay had found mechanical issues with their cars and were unable to race. Jeff Zuidema, #29, was given the black flag during hot laps, but was able to take his car pit side and ready in time for the feature.

JOHNNY BENSON AT SEEKONK FOR RACING AGAINST BREAST CANCER
Seekonk,MA.- Kraze Korlacki Speed Equipment, Inc. and Seekonk Speedway, jointly announce an early entry for” Racing Against Breast Cancer” on October 2nd, at the famous 1/3 mile Bay State oval. 2008 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Champion, Johnny Benson Jr, will join the cars and stars of ISMA in a 100 lap Super Modified Race. Johnny will be piloting the # 74 Brad Lichty of Ayr Ontario, Canada owned, Patco Transportation, sponsored Super Modified. “I have never seen Seekonk Speedway, but I am aware of its rich racing history. Many of the ISMA teams tell me it is one of their favorite tracks. I am exited about competing at the famed “Cement Palace”, which should be a lot of fun while supporting a great cause in the fight against Breast Cancer”, said Benson from his race shop in Charlotte, North Carolina. Labor Day weekend brings ISMA to the Oswego Speedway in Oswego, New York to compete in the 17th Budlight ISMA Super National 50, as part of the 2010 International Classic Weekend. This event is the 3rd of three pre-qualifier races for the “Racing Against Breast Cancer” Race, with the winner receiving a guaranteed starting position. Chris Perley #11, and Joey Scanlon #88, are guaranteed starters as a result of the races at Lee USA Speedway, and the Waterford Speedbowl.

Darling‘s the PASS North kingpin at Seekonk
NAPLES ME – (8/15) Seekonk Speedway regular David Darling took over lead from Derek Ramstrom on lap 107 of Saturday night’s Pro All Stars Series (PASS) 150 at Seekonk Speedway and fought back a challenge from Trevor Sanborn to defend his home turf and join the list of PASS Super Late Model feature winners. Trevor Sanborn was three car lengths back at the finish, followed by Ramstrom, Ben Rowe and Johnny Clark.
Darling and car owner Gary Johnson came to the track Saturday planning to use the practice sessions to tune up the Johnson Landscaping ride, with no plans to even enter the event. But the work Darling and his team put in during practice encouraged them to go ahead and take on the PASS touring pros and the result was a big payday and the hardware that goes with it.

Modified Racing Series Heads to Seekonk Speedway Saturday Night
Seekonk, MA – After competing in New York and Vermont the last three weeks, the Modified Racing Series, sponsored by BobValenti AutoMall.Com, returns to familiar territory Saturday night, June 12, 2010, when the touring division featuring open-wheel modified race cars invades the famed Seekonk, Speedway, Rte 6, Seekonk, MA. for the first of three race dates at the popular oval.
The New England based series, now in its seventh season, has seen five different winners in five races to date.
