Dragon Thinks Oxford 250 Win Could Be In The Cards
MILTON, Vt. – Brent Dragon thought he was doing another team a favor. Instead, it turned into one of the best opportunities the veteran Vermont driver has ever had to win the TD Bank Oxford 250.
“It on Saturday last year, and we weren’t practicing that much with our car.,” said Dragon, who has an Oxford 250 pole and a fourth-place finish in the race over the last three seasons. “Donnie and David (Avery) came over and said their driver wasn’t here and they needed someone to take the car out and just let them know if it was fairly close on the setup.

Barre, VT – Graniteville’s John Donahue rebounded from an eventful Mid-Season Championship just a week ago with a win on Casella night Thursday, July 21 at Thunder Road. Donahue came from the 13th starting position and worked his way through heavy traffic to earn his third win of the season.
Joey Becker led early from the outside pole after a caution on the original green. He would hold a comfortable lead for the first 30 laps before it appeared his car started going away. Dave Whitcomb made a power move on the outside on lap 30 to take the lead. He would hold the lead for less than a lap as Donahue moved from the outside of Becker to under Whitcomb in the blink of an eye.

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Star Racing Late Models at Oxford Plains Speedway

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (July 21, 2011) – While most NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers will be spending their off weekend relaxing far away from the race track, Kyle Busch considers running two late model races at Oxford (Maine) Plains Speedway a relaxing weekend. The 26-year-old’s main goal this weekend is to knock winning the TD Bank 250 off his racing bucket list, but Busch, who is used to running multiple NASCAR races in the same weekend, is also entered in the Pro All Star Series (PASS) Super Late Model 150 on Saturday.

Theriault Ready For Sophomore Ride In Oxford 250

FORT KENT, Maine – In a 2010 season full of learning experiences for a rookie on the ACT Late Model Tour, perhaps the greatest lesson came in a non-ACT event.

Hoar, Paya Hope To Add Missing Piece To Resume
GEORGIA, Vt. – Between them, they have 14 ACT Late Model Tour championships, more wins than anybody in the history of ACT, the former track record at New Hampshire Motor Speedway and wins from Florida to the Canadian provinces. Name a big race in the northeast, and chances are Brian Hoar or car owner Rick Paya have won it.
There is one omission from that resume, however – one they aim to add this weekend in the 38th annual TD Bank Oxford 250 at historic Oxford Plains Speedway in Oxford, Maine.
