NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race 5.21.11
Flawless work during mandatory four-tire pit stops before the final 10-lap shootout in Saturday night’s Sprint All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway got Edwards off pit road first, ahead of Kyle Busch. That proved decisive in Edwards’ first All-Star win as he became the eighth different winner of the event in the last eight years.
Edwards, who finished .443 seconds ahead of runner-up Busch, collected $1.2 million for the victory. David Reutimann ran third, followed by Tony Stewart and Greg Biffle. Matt Kenseth, Denny Hamlin, David Ragan, Kevin Harvick and Ryan Newman completed the top 10.

‘Double or Nothing’
HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. – Las Vegas native Kyle Busch plays a game of “Double or Nothing” every time he straps himself into a racecar.
While double or nothing in this case doesn’t necessarily have to do with gambling, the driver of the No. 18 M&M’s Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) will get to show everyone what he means by double or nothing as the series head into the second non-points event of the season – Saturday night’s $1 million-to-win Sprint All-Star Race at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway.
