KEVIN HARVICK LEADS TEAM CHEVY UNDER THE LIGHTS AT CHARLOTTE MOTOR SPEEDWAY

wervxcvxcCONCORD, NC (May 16, 2014) – Reigning NASCAR Sprint Cup champion Kevin Harvick led the way for Team Chevy at Charlotte Motor Speedway with a second place finish in the 31st Annual NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race which featured four 25-lap segments and a final 10-lap shootout. Starting from the rear of the 20-car field, Harvick muscled his No. 4 Hunt Brothers Pizza Chevy SS to the front, and captured second place finishes in Segments 3 and 4 and again in the final feature.

Dan Dembek Wins DARE Stock Xtra Mart Xtra D 20 With Thrilling Pass; Williams, Gray, Membrino, Saunders, & DiMatteo Also Score Stafford Feature Wins

fasfrter(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway returned to NASCAR Whelen All-American Series racing action with the DARE Stock Xtra Mart Xtra D 50 program on Friday, May 15th on what was also Whelen Event Night with three Ingersoll Rand contingency bonuses going to the winners of the SK Modified®, Late Model, and SK Light features. Xtra Mart Convenience Stores put up a $250 bonus that was split evenly among the top-5 finishers in the extra distance DARE Stock feature event. Dan Dembek was the big winner, taking his second feature win of the 2015 season in the 20-lap DARE Stock feature. Ronnie Williams became the first repeat winner in the SK Modified® ranks, outdueling Eric Berndt and Ryan Preece in the process. Adam Gray picked up his first win of the season after three second place finishes, Tony Membrino, Jr. won his second consecutive feature in the SK Lights, Cliff Saunders got his second win of the season in the Limited Late Model feature, and Dana DiMatteo won his third consecutive Legend Cars feature.

Veteran Drivers Dominate Devil’s Bowl Speedway Season Opener

WEST HAVEN, VT – The youth movement was put on hold at Devil’s Bowl Speedway on Saturday night, May 9, as the two oldest drivers at the speedway ran away at the front of the pack. Two-time Bond Auto Parts Modified division champion Ron Proctor and long-time racer Leon Gonyo – each of whom turns 62 years old soon – finished 1-2 in the 100-lap main event kick off the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series campaign.

Hungry for More

rgbdfgdfKANNAPOLIS, N.C. (May 12, 2015) – Kevin Harvick, driver of the No. 4 Hunt Brothers Pizza Chevrolet SS for Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR), is hungry for more as he heads into Saturday night’s non-points NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway.

Harvick finished third in the first three segments of the 2014 All-Star Race before going on to win the fourth to give him the highest average finish through the first four segments. NASCAR reset the field based on average finishing position through those first four segments prior to the final round of mandatory pit stops. Harvick came to pit road as the leader, but returned to the racetrack in third place behind Jamie McMurray and Carl Edwards.

Michael Bennett Wins Late Model Xtra Mart Xtra D 50 With Thrilling Pass; At Rocco, Membrino, Bessette, Trott, & DiMatteo Also Score Stafford Feature Wins

Xtra Mart Convenience Stores put up a $1,000 bonus that was split evenly among the top-5 finishers in the extra distance Late Model feature event. Michael Bennett recorded his second feature victory of the 2015 season with a thrilling late race pass that saw him beat Adam Gray to the checkered flag by the length of the nose on his car. Other feature winners included Keith Rocco holding off spirited challenges from Justin Bonsignore and Rowan Pennink in the 40-lap SK Modified® feature, Tony Membrino, Jr. won the SK Light feature, Austin Bessette won the Limited Late Model feature, Tyler Trott was a first time career winner in the DARE Stock feature, and Dana DiMatteo took his second consecutive win in the Legend Cars feature.

Kasey Kahne Leads Team Chevy at Kansas

(May 8, 2015) – Kasey Kahne came very close to capturing his first pole position of 2015, but will start on the front row in his No. 5 Great Clips Chevrolet SS after posting the second-fastest time in qualifying for Saturday night’s SpongeBob SquarePants 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Kansas Speedway. Kahne’s fast lap of 28.138 seconds, 191.911 mph gave him his eighth top-10 start of 2015, and his 10th in 16 races at Kansas Speedway.
A total of seven Chevrolet SS drivers made it to the 12-car field for the final round of qualifying and six will start in the top-10.
