Passing the stripe with 3 to go, Bodine gets punted from behind which causes a big pile up. Hornaday gets tipped from the back, gets turned around, lifts then hits the roof. He would roll several times before coming to rest on his roof very reminecent of Newmans last fall. He was ok after Todd Bodine quick check up.
This was the 1st flip in the Truck series since 2005.

DENISE MALOOF: Good afternoon, everyone. Welcome to the NASCAR teleconference in advance of this weekend’s NASCAR events at Talladega Superspeedway. Joining us today is Tony Stewart, driver of the No. 14 Office Depot Chevrolet for Stewart Haas Racing. Sunday’s AMP Energy Juice 500 is the seventh race in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup event. Tony is among the 12 drivers eligible for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series title in the Chase. He heads to Talladega seventh in the standings with two wins this season, his latest coming three weeks ago during the race at Auto Club Speedway.

Smith Confident About Drive for Diversity

Waterbury, VT – Randolph’s Dylan Smith recently returned from his second NASCAR Drive for Diversity Combine at Motor Mile Speedway in Radford, Virginia. The 18 year-old Thunder Road Late Model competitor spent three days last week (Oct. 17-19) trying out for the Revolution Racing team that competes in the NASCAR K&N Pro East Series and the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series.
