Dylan Lupton Named Returning Member Of NASCAR Next Program

NASCAR Next, an evolution of the Next9 initiative that began in 2011, is an all-embracing industry initiative to help spotlight the sport’s rising stars – and boost fan recognition around talent that will grow into NASCAR Sprint Cup Series mainstays.

We welcome members of the press along with industry analysts to the call today as we’re excited to discuss the announcement made earlier this afternoon that Team Penske is partnering with business communications leader, Avaya, as a team sponsor for the 2015 season in both the Verizon IndyCar Series and in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Through the team’s established relationship with HP and with the new partnership with Avaya, Simon Pagenaud will drive the No. 22 Avaya Team Penske Dallara/Chevrolet in at least four races this season, including the 99th running of the Indianapolis 500 later this month. Avaya will also adorn the side of the No. 2 Team Penske Ford Fusion driven by Brad Keselowski in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway next week.

Seekonk Speedway ready to kick off 70th season on May 3.

fgdfgdfhfgOn Sunday, May 3rd, Seekonk Speedway will open its doors for the 70th consecutive season. This time, for the first time since 2005, it will be under the NASCAR Whelen All American Series (NWAAS) banner.

The front gates will open at 11am, with time trial qualifying for the Pro Stocks beginning at 12pm. The time trials are a once a year qualifying effort for the A division, setting the qualifying heats lineup.

Busch Dominates in The Commonwealth

rgbdfgdfKurt Busch, driver of the No. 41 Haas Automation Chevrolet SS for Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR), turned in a dominating performance on Sunday at Richmond (Va.) International Raceway – leading six times for a race-high 291 laps – to score his first win of the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season and all but lock himself into the 16-driver Chase for the Sprint Cup Championship.

Spring Championship Series Announced for Airborne Park, Devil’s Bowl Speedways

heywoodPLATTSBURGH, NY/WEST HAVEN, VT – Airborne Park Speedway and Devil’s Bowl Speedway have teamed up with Yandow Sales & Service of North Ferrisburgh, VT and John Deere in an exciting new partnership for the 2015 stock car racing season. The two tracks will provide four divisions of racing in the locally-rebranded “NASCAR Whelen All-American Series presented by Yandow Sales & Service and John Deere” and the season will begin with the new seven-event Spring Championship Series.

FIVE CHEVROLET SS DRIVERS EARN TOP TEN STARTING SPOTS AT RICHMOND

dgbfghfrtRICHMOND, Va. – (April 24, 2015) – Kurt Busch led the way for Team Chevy in his No. 41 Haas Automation Chevrolet SS at Richmond International Raceway (RIR) during qualifying for Saturday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race. His lap of 21.326 seconds (126.606 mph) was fast enough to earn him the third starting spot for the Toyota Owners 400, round 9 on the NSCS 2015 circuit. This is Busch’s third top-three start of the season.
