The crowd was way off for the Texas Cup race and no doubt track president Eddie Gossage can and will attribute that the F1 race in Austin, Texas took away a lot of fans. Although the Texas Cup ticket prices were a huge bargain compared to the F1 event in Austin.

Akinori Ogata To Make NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Debut With Win-Tron Racing At Phoenix

clip_image004AVONDALE, Arizona (November 5, 2014) – – Officials from Win-Tron Racing announced today that Japanese racer Akinori Ogata will make his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) debut in Friday night’s Lucas Oil 150 from Phoenix (Ariz.) International Raceway.

Ogata will bring longtime support from longtime marketing partner ENEOS, as his NASCAR advancement continues under the watchful eye of Win-Tron Racing.

Dylan Lupton: One More Shot

Lupton’s sophomore season on the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West (NKNSW) tour has been magnificent. Entering Thursday night’s season-finale, the 20-year old is eyeing his second victory of the season, but more importantly, he’s looking to for a Hail Mary comeback and steal the K&N Pro Series West championship from veteran racer Greg Pursley.

Mackena Bell To Make NASCAR Nationwide Series Debut With Rick Ware Racing

clip_image004PHOENIX, Ariz. (November 4, 2014) – – Officials from Rick Ware Racing (RWR) confirmed today that NASCAR K&N Pro Series East (NKNPSE) driver Mackena Bell will compete in Saturday’s DAV 200 at Phoenix (Ariz.) International Speedway.

By taking the green flag behind the No. 23 Rick Ware Racing Chevrolet, Bell will become the only female graduate of NASCAR’s Drive for Diversity program to compete at a NASCAR national series level.

Truex Jr. Pleased With Performance Spike, But Not Recent Finishes

ikkkiDENVER, Colo. (Nov. 4, 2014) – Closing the deal in the last three Sprint Cup Series races has been a thorn for Martin Truex Jr. and the single-car Furniture Row Racing team.

Truex, who had a 10.2 finishing average in the first five races of the Chase, has hit a final-result impasse even though the performance level has picked up with his No. 78 Furniture Row/Denver Mattress Chevrolet.
