PASS Race At Anderson Motor Speedway Cancelled Due To Rain

PASS RacingThe PASS race at Anderson Speedway scheduled for Wednesday, July 3 has been cancelled due to a forecast of 70% chance of thunder showers and periods of heavy rain for both Wednesday and Thursday. We felt it was in everyone’s best interest to cancel early to avoid unnecessary travel inconveniences for all.

MULKERN RACING: Bobby Timmons Finishes 3rd In Pro Series 100 At Beech Ridge

timmons VL BRMSSCARBOROUGH, Maine – Bobby Timmons III of Windham, Maine, finished a career-best third in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Pro Series 100 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, Maine, on Saturday, June 29. Timmons started seventh in his second career start in the marquee event of the season for the Pro Series division, and he patiently logged laps inside the Top-10 until first cracking the Top-5 at the 75-lap mark. He capitalized on a late-race restart to gain much-needed track position and pull out the podium finish. It was the first race in a four-day span for the driver of the Mulkern Racing No. 48 Southern Maine Chrysler Dodge Jeep/Timmons Machine Dodge, as Timmons returns to Beech Ridge for the Miller Lite 50 on Tuesday, July 2.

NAUGHTY 40 RACING: McKeage Finishes 6th In Pro Series 100 At Beech Ridge

mckeage sportsmanSCARBOROUGH, Maine – Dan McKeage of Gorham, Maine, finished sixth in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Pro Series 100 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, Maine, on Saturday, June 29. McKeage pitted on multiple occasions to make chassis adjustments on the Naughty 40 Racing No. 40 Top Gun Construction Chevrolet and work his way into the Top-10 in the late going. On a final green-white-checkered restart, McKeage got a good restart on the outside lane and was able to fight his way up to sixth at the finish. The team discovered a mechanical issue on the rear end of the car during the post-race, and hope that repairs there will have them back up to speed for the Miller Lite 50 at Beech Ridge on Tuesday, July 2.

Theetge pocketed over $4,000 after stealing the win in the final ten laps.

Fireworks On And Off The Track Await In PASS South’s Mid-Week Return To Anderson

PASS RacingCHARLOTTE, NC (June 30) – As temperatures across the South continue to hover around the 100 degree mark on the temperature gauge, the racers of the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) are tackling the challenge head on. After being rained out recently on the originally scheduled Saturday night date at Southern National Motorsports Park in eastern North Carolina, both the PASS South Super Late Models and PASS Pro Late Models took to the track to race on an extremely hot and humid Sunday afternoon. On Wednesday night July 3rd, both divisions will take to the track once again under extreme heat, this time in the Upstate of South Carolina at the extremely tight and challenging 3/8 mile Anderson Motor Speedway as part of the 8th Annual Firecracker 150. And, much like the recent challenges posed at Southern National, Anderson will present its own unique set of obstacles to the Nation’s best short track racers.

Successful NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Debut for Moffitt

 

Grimes, IA – Brett Moffitt made his debut in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) on Thursday, June 27th, in the No. 13 ThorSport Racing AISIN Toyota Tundra.  He brought home a very respectable 14th place finish in the UNOH 225 at Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, KY, on the notoriously bumpy but fast 1.5 mile asphalt circuit.
