PRO STOCK TOUR HEADS TO FREDERICTON FOR THE IRVING BLENDING & PACKAGING 100

(Halifax, NS, July 3, 2013) The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour will make its only visit this season to Speedway 600 this Saturday for the Irving Blending & Packaging 100. Speedway 660 is a 1/3 mile high banked oval located just outside of Fredericton in Geary, NB. Saturday’s Irving Blending & Packaging 100 will mark round five of 12 for the popular Maritime based touring series. Qualifying for the Irving Blending & Packaging 100 gets underway with Atlantic Tiltload Time Trials at 6:10 PM, racing action is slated for 7:00 PM.

Another Extended Payout Event For NEMST Competitors!

After the success of our event earlier this season at Wiscasset raceway with an NEMST record 35 cars in attendance another race on the schedule has received backing to increase the purse. C&C Trucking, Weidner Services, Froling Energy, and Motionsick Motorsports have come on board and increased the payout for the NEMST’s August 17th event at Monadnock Speedway. This will be the third visit for the NEMST to the Winchester, NH ¼ mile speedway which always produces a great race.

Southern Maine Motors 150 Up Next For PASS North

PASS NorthNAPLES, ME (July 2) – Circles are pretty important in short track stock car racing. And unfortunately for the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Model division, the weather has seemed to be a never ending circle of rain, clouds, and race cancellations. The PASS North Super Late Models have not competed since May 18 at Quebec’s Autodrome Chaudiere. Rainouts at White Mountain Motorsports Park and Speedway 660 led to PASS officials adding a make-up event at Oxford Plains Speedway on June 22 and, despite a glimmer of hope that saw cars make it on track for heat racing, a summer shower sent teams packing once again. And, you guessed it, last weekend’s event scheduled for New Hampshire’s Canaan Fair Speedway had to be cancelled due to soggy conditions in and around the speedway.

Irving Blending and Packaging 100 goes Saturday Night

July 3, 2013-The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour makes its annual visit to Speedway 660 this weekend. The Maritime tour will run the Irving Blending and Packaging 100 at 7PM on Saturday night. At least two dozen tour drivers are expected to head to the Geary Woods for the race. Dave O’Blenis and a few other RE/MAX Group Four Realty Pro Stock drivers from Speedway 660 will also enter the race.

“We’re off to a good start to the season and this weekend’s race will be a great test to see how we stack up against the top Parts for Trucks tour teams” said O’Blenis, who is leading the Pro Stock points at Speedway 660. “We’ve been working closely with John Flemming this year and I think that will help both of our teams have good runs when the race goes green Saturday night.”
