PASS Sportsman, NASCAR Pro Series Both On The Racing Docket

GORHAM, Maine – Two races in two nights, each of which suits Dan McKeage just fine.

The veteran driver from the Naughty 40 Racing stable out of Gorham, Maine, will compete in the PASS Sportsman 75 at Oxford Plains Speedway in Oxford, Maine, on Friday, June 28, and then head back to his home track for the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Pro Series 100 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, Maine, on Saturday, June 29. McKeage already has a race win in both divisions this season, and he’s happy anytime he sees extra-distance racing pop up on the schedule.

Série ACT Announces St-Eustache Doubleheader Finale

ACT American Canadian TourWaterbury, VT – Série ACT officials have announced the twice-postponed St-Eustache 100 at Autodrome St-Eustache has been rescheduled for Saturday, September 14th. The event will now be the first leg of a doubleheader weekend at the half-mile speedway to cap off the 2013 Série ACT season. The annual St-Eustache 300 will complete the title battle on Sunday, September 15th.

THE STORY

WESTBROOK, Maine – John Peters of Westbrook, Maine, and the Amsoil NELCAR Legends Tour hit the track for another double-dip this week, with the VIP Thursday Thunder 25 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, Maine, on Thursday, June 27, followed by a return trip to Speedway 95 in Hermon, Maine, for a 25-lap event on Saturday, June 29. Peters turned in a pair of outstanding runs last weekend – driving all the way from the rear of the field to finish eighth in a caution-free event at Beech Ridge on Thursday, June 20, and then rallying from the 16th starting position to finish third at Wiscasset Speedway. In his last four races in the No. 51 Cash For Clunkers/Derek Kneeland Racing Sedan, Peters has one win, three Top-3s and four Top-10 finishes.

Polewarczyk Makes It Two In A Row

Groveton, NH – Hudson, NH’s Joey Polewarczyk, Jr., grabbed his second straight American Canadian Tour victory in the ACT 150 at Groveton, NH’s Riverside Speedway on Sunday, June 23, beating reigning Champion Wayne Helliwell, Jr., and sophomore driver Jimmy Hebert.
