Big Weekend For PASS Begins With “Rumble” At Southern National

PASS RacingCHARLOTTE, NC (June 18) – After nearly a month off thanks to mother nature, the East Coast’s top Super Late Model drivers will have a chance to showcase their talents at two of the country’s top short tracks this weekend. On Saturday, the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South Super Late Models and PASS Pro Late Models will return to Southern National Motorsports Park in Kenly, NC, while the PASS North Super Late Models and PASS Modifieds will be back in action on Sunday at Maine’s legendary Oxford Plains Speedway.

Mitchell navigates winning the PASS Columbia River 150 at WVSO

PASS RacingWENATCHEE, Wash. – When you have your worst qualifying effort in over 4 years, you might just wonder if you might have missed the set up but Saturday night Shane Mitchell proved everyone wrong. After qualifying towards the tail end of the field Shane Mitchell came up with his first ever PASS win in the Montana Manroc Columbia River 150. “after qualifying we thought we got it wrong but we kept it and dad was real nervous” Mitchell said in victory lane “When the sun went down the car just came to us and I couldn’t be happier with the win”

CANAAN, N.H. – Emily Packard of East Montpelier, Vt., met with a couple rounds of tough luck at Canaan Fair Speedway in Canaan, N.H., finishing 28th in the ACT Late Model Tour 150 on Saturday, June 15. Packard qualified through the first round in the No. 9x Northstar Fireworks/Berlin Optical Expressions Ford Fusion, but the 16-year-old driver was spun at the hands of two other competitors in separate incidents before the race was even 30 laps old. With heavy damage to the car itself, Packard retired from the event early.
