Brian Hoar Sweeps ACT Races in Quebec – Captures 8th Points Championship

STE-CROIX, QUE. – Brian Hoar of Williston, Vermont secured an unprecedented eighth ACT Late Model Tour championship by taking the win in the Can-Am 200 at Circuit Riverside in Ste-Croix, Que., on Sunday, September 11. The win came one night after a stellar performance and win in the Budweiser Showdown at Chaudiere 200 at Autodrome Chaudiere in Vallee-Jonction, Que.

Hoar led every lap of the All-Star race at Chaudiere en route to the win in the RPM Motorsports No. 37 GossCars.com Dodge. At Riverside, he finished second on the track and inherited the victory when the race winner failed post-race technical inspection.

Brian Hoar Inherits Riverside Can-Am 200 Win

ACT Tour RacingSte-Croix, QC – Seven-time ACT Champion Brian Hoar inherited his second win of the weekend in the ACT Late Model Tour and Série ACT Castrol combination Can-Am 200 at Circuit Riverside Speedway in Ste-Croix, QC on Sunday, September 11. Hoar finished second to apparent winner Alex Labbé. Labbé was disqualified for failing to comply with a protest by the #91QC team of his ACT sealed crate motor. Labbe was disqualified from the event with no points and no money and has been suspended from further ACT competition for failing to comply with the requested teardown of his motor.

ACT Announces “Showdown at Chaudiere” Field

Waterbury, VT – The American Canadian Tour has announced the twenty-four (24) car field for the fourth annual “Showdown at Chaudiere” All-Star event at Autodrome Chaudiere in Valle-Jonction, QC on Saturday, September 10. Twelve (12) teams from the U.S.-based ACT Late Model Tour will head north of the border to take on twelve (12) teams from the Quebec-based Série ACT Castrol.

Sunday September 11th is the rescheduled White Mountain Motorsports Park date. The 2:00 PM green will feature all three PASS North touring series plus a 40 lap Wildcat/Strictly feature.

The Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South Super Late Models headed to Ace Speedway in Altamahaw, North Carolina, on Saturday, September 3rd, for the “Labor Day Classic 150” event, the 11th race of the 2011 season. After multiple leaders and a wild conclusion, Clay Rogers went to victory lane, earning his second-career PASS South Super Late Model Series victory, his second win in a row.
