THE STORY
Joey Doiron of Berwick, Maine, looks to keep momentum rolling when the PASS North Series heads to the PASS 150 at Seekonk Speedway in Seekonk, Mass., on Saturday, August 6. Doiron collected his first career Super Late Model victory in a 40-lap NASCAR Whelen All-American Series event at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway last weekend, and he’s posted one Top-5 and two Top-10 finishes in his last three PASS North Series starts.

Beech Ridge Motor Speedway Race Report
SCARBOROUGH, Maine – Brian Hoar of Williston, Vt., finished sixth in the American Canadian Tour 150 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, Maine, on Saturday, July 30. Hoar started the feature on the outside pole after an impressive 9th-to-4th-place run in his heat race, and he cleared the polesitter on the first lap and went on to lead 43 laps. He would eventually be passed, and settle into the Top-5 for the rest of the race as his handling continued to go away. In the closing laps, Hoar battled with teammate Austin Theriault to give RPM Motorsports two cars in the Top-6 at the checkered flag.

Beech Ridge Motor Speedway Race Report
SCARBOROUGH, Maine – Austin Theriault of Fort Kent, Maine, continued his strong mid-summer performance with a fifth-place finish in the American Canadian Tour 150 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, Maine, on Saturday, July 30. Theriault’s first ACT Late Model Tour Top-5 of the season comes one week after his impressive podium finish in the TD Bank Oxford 250 at Oxford Plains Speedway in Oxford, Maine – where he became the youngest Top-3 finisher in the 38-year history of the Oxford 250. The RPM Motorsports team will travel to New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Tuesday, August 2, to begin testing for the ACT All-Star Challenge, which will be held during IZOD IndyCar weekend at the track on August 12-14. NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Race Report
SCARBOROUGH, Maine – Joey Doiron of Berwick, Maine, took home his first career NASCAR Whelen All-American Series win by taking the checkered flag in the 40-lap Pro Series feature event at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway on Saturday July 30. Doiron started third and led every lap to claim his first victory since winning in the track’s Sport Series in 2007. With only one caution period slowing the field on Lap 6, Doiron was able to pull away from the rest of the field and take the win by a full straightaway over Aaron Ricker for the first career Super Late Model win for the 2009 ACT Late Model Tour and 2010 PASS North Series Rookie of the Year.
