THE STORY
Lonnie Sommerville of Saint John, New Brunswick, joins the PASS North Series for its debut at Autodrome Chaudiere in Vallee Jonction, Que., with the Habitations Dany Lagace 150 on Saturday, June 25. Sommerville hopes to rebound from a tough effort last time out at Speedway 660, when a mechanical failure took him out of contention shortly after leading the 200-lap event. He has never raced at Autodrome Chaudiere, though he and the Mulkern Racing No. 48 A.E. McKay Builders Chevrolet team did get the opportunity to test at the track earlier this month. Sommerville enters the weekend third in the PASS North standings, just 26 points off the lead through three races. (more…)
The K & N Pro Series East began the second half of the season in the Visit Hampton Va 175 at Langley Speedway in Virginia where the Grimm Construction Chevy posted a disappointing 13th place finish on the .396 oval. For the previous three races the team had satisfying runs and was confident for a
solid finish.
“We are disappointed with our run today. We thought we had turned the corner and were headed in the right direction with our last three races,” said Eddie MacDonald before continuing, “We missed the set up today and the car just stayed real loose for the whole race. We tried to tighten it up with a
couple of pit stops but the car remained real loose coming off the turns. I tried a number of different lines but it just didn’t work out.” (more…)
LOUDON, N.H. (June 22, 2011) -When NASCAR races into New Hampshire Motor Speedway fans can bet Kyle Busch will be a factor to capture at least one checkered flag during the LENOX Industrial Tools 301 weekend, July 15-17.
In just seven years of racing on “The Magic Mile,” Busch has claimed five wins, two of which came last year. He became the first ever repeat winner in the NASCAR Nationwide Series at NHMS in 23 races. When NASCAR returned in September, Busch also dominated the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race, winning both the pole and 175-lap event. (more…)

THE STORY
Joey Doiron of Berwick, Maine, heads north of the border for the second straight PASS North Series race, when the series competes in the Habitations Dany Lagace 150 at Autodrome Chaudiere in Vallee Jonction, Que., on Saturday, June 25. The event marks the PASS debut at Chaudiere. Doiron enters the weekend off consecutive Top-10 finishes on the tour, and he will be one of the few drivers in the field with on-track experience on Chaudiere’s high banks. PASS North makes first Autodrome Chaudiere appearance Saturday
Naples ME (6/20) The Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North super late models will once again make their way across the Canadian border for their first ever stop at Autodrome Chaudiere in Lavallee Jonction Quebec this Saturday, June 25. The PASS Habitations Dany Lagace 150 is the first Quebec visit for the series since 2004. (more…)
Brian Hoar: ACT Late Model Tour

NORTH WOODSTOCK, N.H. – Brian Hoar of Williston, Vt., captured his fifthTop-5 finish in five ACT Late Model Tour starts this season with a 4th-place finish in White Mountain 150 at White Mountain Motorsports Park on Saturday, June 18. Hoar started third in the 31-car field and ran as high as second on a Lap 99 restart in the RPM Motorsports No. 37 GossCars.com Dodge. He never fell out of the Top-5 at any point during the event.
