Tyler Church Looks To Clinch PASS South Title At Mason Dixon Meltdown

CHARLOTTE, NC (November 13) – Entering this weekend’s 9th Annual Mason Dixon Meltdown at Southern National Motorsports Park, Hickory, NC’s Tyler Church is on the cusp of winning his first Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South Super Late Model championship. Church comes into Saturday afternoon’s race as the defending winner and with a 40 point lead over second year Super Late Model driver Cole Timm.

After competing in a partial schedule in 2013, Church captured his first PASS South win in the Over The Mountain 150 at Hickory Motor Speedway last September. But, it was a dominating performance in the Mason Dixon Meltdown at Southern National that not proved Church and his small family-owned team could compete with the best that short track racing has to offer.

Super Late Model Racing’s Best Prepare For Mason Dixon Meltdown At Southern National

CHARLOTTE, NC (November 7) – As has been customary for the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South Super Late Model division, the season will once again conclude with the running of the 9th Annual Mason Dixon Meltdown on Saturday, November 15 at Southern National Motorsports Park in Kenly, NC. Some of the best short trackers from Canada to Florida are busily preparing their machines for what will be, for many of them, the final race of a long campaign. One driver looking to cap off a pretty stellar 2014 season is Worcester, Massachusetts’s native Derek Ramstrom. During the late summer and early fall, Ramstrom went to victory lane in two of New England’s most prestigious events, the PASS 300 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway and the World Series of Stock Car Racing at Thompson Speedway in Connecticut. Following a successful 5th place outing with the Petit Motorsports team last weekend at Caraway Speedway’s North-South Shootout, Ramstrom is encouraged to return to his family owned team for another outing at Southern National.
