WEST HAVEN, VT – One creative dirt track stock car racing fan will leave their mark on the action at Devil’s Bowl Speedway, as the Vermont track announces the “You Name The Race!” contest for its “Battle at the Bowl” series finale. One entry will be selected as the title of the dirt track event on Saturday, October 18.
Waterbury, VT – The nation’s leading short track racing internet supplier, Speed51.com, owned and operated by NASCAR television broadcaster Bob Dillner from Charlotte, North Carolina, has entered into an agreement with Thunder Road International Speedbowl in Barre, VT to have the 52nd annual People’s United Bank Milk Bowl broadcast on the 51 TV pay-per-view schedule of events. The famous event will take place on Saturday and Sunday, October 4-5, 2014.
WEST HAVEN, VT – Vermont’s Devil’s Bowl Speedway can lay claim to the most diverse schedule of stock car racing events in the Northeast in 2014, as details for the first-ever “Battle at the Bowl” dirt series have been announced. The three-race run begins on Friday, September 26 at 7:00 p.m.
Originally planned to be a temporary clay surface laid on top of the existing half-mile asphalt oval, the dirt track will now be a permanent one-third-mile clay oval built in the infield. The first and second turns will have as much as 10 degrees of banking, while the third and fourth corners have between four and seven degrees of banking. Corners will be 50-60 feet wide, with straightaways at 60-80 feet wide.
WEST HAVEN, VT – Devil’s Bowl Speedway crowned its 2014 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series champions during a busy and picturesque Sunday afternoon at the Mekkelsen RV Vermont 200 Championship Weekend. Todd Stone and Robert Gordon became two-time champions on the asphalt, while Jamie Fisher and Chuck Bradford each celebrated their first titles.

BRADFORD, VT – Mother Nature finally claims her first full washout as the rains settled in around 4:00pm and never really left the area until well after 10:00 pm. The Spencer Rocke Memorial event sponsored by Shaker Valley Auto will be run on the Ridges final night of racing for the 2014 season on Saturday September 27th, Crate Motor Nationals night.
Bear Ridge Speedway’s 47th season of stock car racing continues on Saturday, September 20, 2014 for the ROCK99 Weekly Racing series with Double Points Championship night. This event is sponsored by the weekly racing series sponsor 99ROCK and Lucky’s Trailer Sales.
