Talman teamed up with the #3 Boehler Family team for the 2014 season ending race and that relationship has blossomed into a full-time ride for the 2015 season with sponsorship from Cape Cod Copper, Riverview Industries, and NAPA Ayer Auto Parts.

NEW ENGLAND MOTORSPORTS NORTH FOR APRIL 16, 2015

tgbnhyOne of the biggest seasons in American-Canadian Tour (ACT) history launches on Saturday, April 18 as part of the first ever doubleheader between the ACT Late Model stock cars and the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Models. More than 70 combined cars are expected at the Oxford Plains Speedway in Oxford, ME, and multiple ACT drivers will attempt to run both 150-lap events that afternoon.

Defending ACT Tour Champion Joey Polewarczyk Jr. of Hudson, NH leads the drivers looking to complete all 300 laps of feature racing on the 3/8th-mile oval. “Joey Pole” said that he and his team wanted to attempt the doubleheader as soon as they learned that it was on the schedule.

Strong Start Critical For ACT Championship Hopes

Long-time road course racer Robert Sturgis, Jr. is ready to clean the snow off his 1999 Mazda Miata for the season-opening event, and start the season in the right direction.

LAKEVILLE, Conn. (April 14) – Late last year, Lime Rock Park Track President Skip Barber committed more than $3 million to a wide variety of projects to rebuild, refine and renew Lime Rock’s infrastructure. The goal of the so-called Road to 60 Project is to dramatically enhance the spectator experience from 2015 onward.

“From the paddocks and the bathrooms to the hillside viewing areas, we’re changing Lime Rock’s infrastructure from pre-historic to be perhaps the most fan friendly road course in North America,” Barber said.

LFR Chassis Scores First Win in NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour

fsdgdfgMOORESVILLE, N.C. (April 13, 2015) – LFR Chassis earned its first win in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour (NWMT) after dominating the field this past weekend at Thompson Speedway. Between Doug Coby and Ron Silk, LFR Chassis was fastest in practice, won the pole and led every lap of the Icebreaker 150.

“All of the LFR teams worked great together and we’re trying to build one big team,” said Rob Fuller, LFR Chassis owner. “We’re collecting as much data to help everyone. Everyone had the same setup package and just fine-tuned it to their driver. It was a basic shock package and spring package and each team tuned their set-up.”
