Michael Scorzelli Ready to be Championship Contender in Stafford Speedway’s Late Model Division

Scorzelli finished 8th in points during his rookie season and he improved to fourth in the points this past season while scoring his first career Stafford victory.

Michael Bennett Looking to Build Upon Successful Return to Late Model Division at Stafford and Challenge for Championship

tyghsdgsgd(Stafford Springs, CT)—After a 3-year hiatus from Stafford Speedway’s Late Model division as he tried his hand in the SK Modified® ranks, hometown driver Michael Bennett returned to the Late Model ranks in 2014. Bennett tied a career high with 2 wins and he finished 5th in the standings, but behind the scenes things were harder then they appeared as Bennett struggled with the consistency of his Late Model machine.

Season Title Contenders File Entries Lanpher Looks for Redemption at IceBreaker

Larry GelanisWalpole, NH- Just weeks away from the start of the 2015 season, the title hunt is beginning to take shape for the Granite State Pro Stock Series (GSPSS).

A mix of veteran and young drivers have made the commitment to become the fourth champion in series history. Former Oxford 250 winner (1996), “Lightning” Larry Gelinas has announced his intentions of being crowned champion. The Buxton, ME driver set a torrid pace in the first half of the 2014 season, including five (5) top-5 finishes in the first five races, including a win at Hudson International Speedway, but back-to-back finishes outside the top-15 put a damper on Gelinas’ bid on the championship, ending the season with a third-place overall finish in the standings.

FedEx Ground to Celebrate at Airborne Park Speedway Season Opener

gsdgsdPLATTSBURGH, NY – Airborne Park Speedway’s 62nd stock car racing season will open in style on Saturday, May 2, hosting the Plattsburgh FedEx Ground employee and contractor teams for their annual engagement event and the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series season kickoff. The new-look J&S Steel Modified division will be put to the test with a 100-lap main event, in addition to racing for the Ground Round Late Model, Key R-D Trailer Sales Renegade, and Busch Beer Mini Modified divisions.

Anderson To Present Unique Challenges For PASS National Stars

500web-PASS-2006-MasterCHARLOTTE, NC (March 18) – Some of the biggest names in short track racing from across North America are heading to Anderson Motor Speedway for this weekend’s inaugural Peach Blossom Special. The 4/10 mile oval in South Carolina’s Upstate will be hosting the first race of the 2015 Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Model National Championship. The PASS National Championship is Super Late Model racing’s only true national title and has been one by such short track luminaries as Cassius Clark, Ben Rowe, Preston Peltier, and Jay Fogleman.

Hudson, New Hampshire young gun Derek Griffith had a respectable season, finishing fourth on the season, with six (6) top-five and ten (10) top-ten finishes in eleven (11) races, but the elusive “W” has evaded the LCM Racing Engines team. Griffith is trying to change that in 2015.
