Canaan, NH. — Another Valenti Modified Racing Series Championship goes down to the wire in this weekend’s season finale at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park and the ‘Sunoco World Series of Speedway Racing presented by Xtramart’.
Justin Bonsignore, of Holtsville, New York, thanks to a second place finish at Lee, New Hampshire, last weekend, takes a 37-point lead into Thompson ahead of reigning champion Rowan Pennink, of Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania.

NETS to decide champion at Thompson
The New England Truck Series arrives at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park looking to crown a Series Champion and settling the closest point battle in recent series history. Corey Coates leads 5 time series champion Andy Lindeman by 3 points going into the World Series of Stock Car Racing. They control their own destiny, as a win by either driver would clinch the 2014 NETS Championship. Each has found victory lane multiple times in 2014, with Lindeman winning the series’ most recent event at Lee USA Speedway.

CHARLOTTE, NC (October 14) – With another season headed into the record books over the next month or so for the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South Super Late Model division, teams busily prepare for their next challenge coming up this weekend in the Orange County 150 presented by CV Products at Orange County Speedway. Amongst them is the Auramist-sponsored #28 team of young Jared Irvan. The third generation racer currently sits third in PASS South Super Late Model points competing in his first full season racing full-bodied stock cars.

Finishing second in the balloting for 51’s Best Annual Short Track Event, the event will feature a total of 14 divisions. Twelve will celebrate champions, headlined by NASCAR’s oldest division: the Whelen Modified Tour.

Barre, VT – The “Outlaw” Eddie MacDonald of Rowley, Massachusetts held off two-time and defending Thunder Road Track Champion Derrick O’Donnell to claim the victory in the 52nd running of the People’s United Bank Milk Bowl at Barre’s Thunder Road on Sunday, October 12. MacDonald put together a combined overall score of 14 points in the three-segment event to become the first winner from outside of Vermont since 2010.

Since teaming up, Eddie Macdonald and Rollie LaChance have recorded impressive wins together in the American Canadian Tour and the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East. On Sunday the duo added the famed People’s United Bank Milk Bowl trophy held at Barre, Vermont’s Thunder Road International Speedbowl to their list of accomplishments that include two Oxford 250 wins and three ACT Invitational wins at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Billed as the toughest short track race in America, Eddie Mac, crew chief Rollie LaChance and the dedicated crew set the tone early with a win in the first of the three 50 lap segments for the ACT final race of the season and the 52nd running of the event.

Lee, NH. — Richard Savary, of Canton, Massachusetts, scored his fourth win of the season Sunday afternoon winning the 100-lap Valenti Modified Racing Series ‘Oktoberfest 100’ at Lee USA Speedway, Lee, New Hampshire.
Savary’s victory was his second this season. He won a 100-lap event at Lee on June 27. Savary ties Andy Seuss with 5 career wins.

Andy Lindeman wins NETS Shirley Lindeman Memorial at Lee USA
In his third attempt, Andy Lindeman finally brought home the trophy engraved with his late mother’s name. The Shirley Lindeman Memorial Race at Lee USA Speedway belonged to Shirley’s son Saturday night. An emotional Lindeman was presented the trophy in victory lane, and thanked series officials and the Cindy Burdick Motorsports team for sponsoring the event, which has been held at a different speedway each season since 2012. Duane Noll had won the previous two.
