Rob Fuller Motorsports Seeks Redemption at Loudon

333SHREWSBURY, Mass. (September 17, 2014) – In July, Rob Fuller Motorsports brought a contenting race car to New Hampshire Motor Speedway for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event. Todd Szegedy, driver of the No. 15 15-50 Connection Chevrolet, led 15 laps of the race, but unfortunately the day ended with a DNF due to a mechanical failure. This weekend, the RFM team is seeking to recapture the success of the day and finish it off with a win.

Stafford Motor Speedway Track Championship Race Update

23456(Stafford Springs, CT)—As the Final Friday Night Shoot-Out approaches at Stafford Motor Speedway this Friday, Sept. 19th, there are only 2 races left for drivers to jockey for position in the points standings. With the 2 remaining races on the schedule, that means that any driver within 100 points of the leader is still mathematically alive to win the championship. Stafford’s five NASCAR Whelen All-American Series divisions have several tight races that will go down to the wire and there are also two championship races that could be wrapped up this Friday night.

Justin Bonsignore Looking for First Stafford Victory in NAPA Fall Final Weekend

Devil’s Bowl Speedway Announces Details for “Battle at the Bowl” Dirt Series

devils bowl NG vertical PNGWEST HAVEN, VT – Vermont’s Devil’s Bowl Speedway can lay claim to the most diverse schedule of stock car racing events in the Northeast in 2014, as details for the first-ever “Battle at the Bowl” dirt series have been announced. The three-race run begins on Friday, September 26 at 7:00 p.m.
Originally planned to be a temporary clay surface laid on top of the existing half-mile asphalt oval, the dirt track will now be a permanent one-third-mile clay oval built in the infield. The first and second turns will have as much as 10 degrees of banking, while the third and fourth corners have between four and seven degrees of banking. Corners will be 50-60 feet wide, with straightaways at 60-80 feet wide.

Griffith looking forward to visiting White Mountain Motorsports Park

N. Woodstock, NH – Teenage Hotshoe Derek Griffith is excited about this coming weekend’s trip to White Mountain Motorsports Park (WMMP).

 

WMMP is a picturesque ¼-mile bullring in northern New Hampshire that offers touring series the opportunity to race at one of the nicest facilities in New England.

 

Griffith is coming off a great podium finish at the Inaugural NH Classic 100 at Star Speedway on September 7, 2014. Derek started in the second spot for the 100 lap feature and stayed in the top 5 all day long. The podium finish allowed Griffith to pull ahead of Barry Gray for third place in the season long points battle. With 2 races to go, Derek feels he can seize an opportunity as the Granite State Pro Stock Series (GSPSS) makes its first ever trip to WMMP.

NEW ENGLAND MOTORSPORTS SOUTH

456Randy Cabral is a one man thrill show. He didn’t disappoint the fans at Oswego Speedway on Sunday night with his demonstration of driving skills and speed on the way to his fifth win of the season.

Cabral of Kingston, MA tracked down Mendon, MA driver John Zych and passed him on the final turn to win the 25 lap NEMA midget feature, part of the Race Of Champions Weekend at Oswego. The midgets had waited over 24 hours to run their event, after being rained out on Saturday. They ran an abbreviated program without heats and only one round of practice.
