CHARLOTTE, NC (September 17) – Entering the 2014 Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South Super Late Model campaign, Brandon Setzer had high hopes for success. But the season, did not start out the way he had hoped. Motor problems at Greenville-Pickens and Hickory, coupled with an accident at Dillon, had Setzer mired far back in the standings. But a mid-season switch from his family owned team to the potent Dick Woodman Racing entry saw Setzer score back-to-back podium finishes at Ace and Southern National. Since then, Setzer has returned to the family team and the good runs have continued. He now sits seventh in PASS South Super Late Model points, just 34 points out of the top five as the series prepares for this weekend’s Over The Mountain 150 at Hickory Motor Speedway.

WEST HAVEN, VT – Devil’s Bowl Speedway crowned its 2014 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series champions during a busy and picturesque Sunday afternoon at the Mekkelsen RV Vermont 200 Championship Weekend. Todd Stone and Robert Gordon became two-time champions on the asphalt, while Jamie Fisher and Chuck Bradford each celebrated their first titles.

Texas this weekend for the Lone Star Le Mans race and the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship at
Circuit of The Americas. It is the second-to-last round of the TUDOR Championship, and both the Prototype and GT Le Mans (GTLM) standings reflect a heavy Corvette flavor.

The starting field for the 6th annual Bond Auto ACT Invitational at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) on Saturday, September 20, 2014 has been set. The sixth edition of the event will have the American Canadian Tour (ACT) introducing fans to a promising future for regional Late Model short track stock car racing. Veteran champions and former NHMS winners Eddie MacDonald, Rowley, MA; Joey Polewarczyk, Jr. (Pole), Hudson, NH; Ray Parent, Tiverton, RI; and Brian Hoar, Williston, VT have all won events at the “Magic Mile”. This year there are lots of young emerging stars who will challenge the veterans.

The 2014 PASS 400 Weekend at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway brought to you by Southern Maine Chrysler, Dodge,
Jeep has come to an end after what was a very exciting three days of racing.
On Sunday the Super Late Model last chance race was the first event of the day as the driver that had not already
qualified for the 300 lap main event had one more shot to get in the big show. Lonnie Sommerville won the last chance
race as he battled Bradley Babb throughout most of the race.

Mother Nature Wins Out Again at Monadnock Speedway
Winchester, NH: This past Saturday, Mother Nature decided the fate of the race venue scheduled and the final 2014 NASCAR point show event at the high banked 1/4 mile of Monadnock Speedway. The speedway has dealt with this before as a few years ago rain washed out the final two point races deciding the final point standings.
Monadnock Speedway has unofficially announced the 2014 NASCAR Whelen All American Racing Series Champions; Todd Patnode (Sportsman Modifieds), Tom Carey III (Super Stocks), Mike Stebbins (Mini Stocks), Marshall Usher (Thunder Stocks) and Kyle Boniface (Lightning Stocks). The championship will be made official on the Super Saturday Season Finale Event.

COREY MORGAN 2014 STRICTLY STREET CHAMPION

Wiscasset Speedway began racing action last Saturday night, but rain arrived before the whole show could be presented. Heats for both Late Model Sportsman and Strictly Streets and the beginning of the Strictly Street feature had been started when rained out.
With only six of twenty-five laps complete, the drivers voted by majority vote not to make up the incomplete feature, thus ending their point season. This makes Corey Morgan the Strictly Street Point Champion. Morgan had a great season with four wins. In eight out of ten races, Morgan placed in the top three.

Mother Nature claims her first official win of the season as the Ridge rains out 9/13/14.
BRADFORD, VT – Mother Nature finally claims her first full washout as the rains settled in around 4:00pm and never really left the area until well after 10:00 pm. The Spencer Rocke Memorial event sponsored by Shaker Valley Auto will be run on the Ridges final night of racing for the 2014 season on Saturday September 27th, Crate Motor Nationals night.
