Frahm was joined in victory lane by NASCAR Whelen All-American Series winners Hunter Bates, Todd Stone, and Bobby LaVair.

Kids Night On Deck For Thunder Road

(Photo Credit: David Heath)Barre, VT – On Sunday, June 16, The Nation’s Site of Excitement Thunder Road will open the gates with free admission for kids 12 and under with a full card of racing action and special events for the whole family.

Racecars from Thunder Road’s Late Model division, Bond Auto Tigers, and Allen Lumber Street Stocks will be lined up at 1:15pm to give rides around the quarter-mile oval to kids in attendance. Thunder Road will also be giving out a free hot dog to all kids.

THE STORY
FORT KENT, Maine – Austin Theriault of Fort Kent, Maine, is back in the seat for Brad Keselowski Racing at the Battle At Berlin 251 at Berlin Raceway in Marne, Mich., on Saturday, June 15. Theriault made his debut on the flat .438-mile oval last season in the 251-lap main event, finishing 13th in the CRA Super Series sanctioned event. The driver of the BKR No. 29 Checkered Flag Foundation Ford Fusion is looking forward to continuing his strong run this season in the BKR Fords while competing in one of the biggest races of the first half of the 2013 season. The team practiced and qualified for a 75-lap event at Berlin two weeks ago before the race itself was rained out, but Theriault has not finished outside of the Top-10 in seven consecutive Super Late Model races dating back to last season – including a sixth-place effort at Gresham Motorsports Park in the Southern Super Series Racing Radios 125 in April – and expects to turn in another strong run this weekend.

THE STORY

EAST MONTPELIER, Vt. – Emily Packard of East Montpelier, Vt., returns to ACT Late Model Tour competition with the Canaan 150 at Canaan Fair Speedway in Canaan, N.H., on Saturday, June 15. Packard has made three ACT starts this season, and two weeks ago, she became the first woman to win a NASCAR-sanctioned event at Canaan Fair Speedway when she took the victory in Twin 25s at the track on June 1. This weekend mark’s Packard’s first attempt at qualifying for an ACT Late Model Tour race at her home track, and she’ll do so with the new No. 9x Northstar Fireworks/Berlin Optical Expressions Ford she debuted last weekend in weekly competition. After the Canaan 150, Packard will cap her weekend with a 50-lap Late Model event at Thunder Road International Speedbowl in Barre, Vt., on Sunday, June 16.
