MOORESVILLE, N.C. (December 5, 2011) – Penske Racing announced today that it has reached a mutual agreement with driver Kurt Busch to end its driver/race team relationship, effective immediately.
The team will evaluate its options for the driver of the No. 22 Sprint Cup Series car in the future while Busch will seek new opportunities with another race team.

CHESHIRE, Conn. (Dec. 2, 2011) – For the first time in several years, there is no true favorite on the northeastern regional snocross scene as a new season draws near.
When it was announced last summer that 2011 ECS Pro champion Mathieu Morin had signed with BOSS Racing for an assault on the ISOC national title, racers across New York and New England let out a sigh of relief, just as they did one year earlier when 2010 champion Bobby LePage headed back west to ride for Levi LaVallee.

Snowmobile race teams from around New York and New England are packing their bags and loading the trailers, as officials at East Coast Snocross (ECS) prepare to kick off their second season of competition on Saturday and Sunday, December 10-11, at the beautiful Burke Mountain Ski Resort in East Burke, Vermont.

Portland,Maine- Bill Rodgers, Corey Bubar, Brian Caswell and Ryan Phillips were the guests of honor at the 63rdd annual presentation of awards at the Holiday Inn by the bay in Portland Maine Saturday night. The awards ceremony closed out the 2011 NASCAR Whelan All American Series at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in front of an overflow crowd in the banquet room.
Bill Rodgers was honored with the championship awards for the Pro Series division. Rodgers received his championship awards from NASCAR and Beech Ridge and addressed the crowd in attendance and spoke some heartfelt words to his race team. This was the first championship title for Rodgers who has been working toward this night for nearly 20 years. Corey Bubar stepped to the podium to collect the Sport Series championship awards. Bubar capped off an amazing season by thanking his team and paid extra special thanks to his Father. The championship award was not the only honor bestowed on Bubar as he was the recipient of the prestigious Driver of the Year honor. Brian Caswell collected Wildcat championship on Saturday night. CONCORD, N.C. – Austin Theriault finished 12th in the PASS-sanctioned Mason-Dixon Meltdown 200 at Concord Motorsports Park on Saturday, wrapping up an impressive debut with Brad Keselowski Racing (BKR) this month.
Theriault made his first start with the team in the crash-marred World Crown 300 at Gresham Motorsports Park in Jefferson, Ga., two weeks earlier.
“The opportunity to race for BKR is something not a lot of people can say they have,” said Theriault, 17, of Fort Kent, Maine. “Just being able to show your talent on the southern stage is something a lot of people want to be able to do. Anything we can do in the future with (Gary Crooks and Wayne Setteringon) at BKR will be great for us.

OXFORD, Maine – Oxford Plains Speedway today released its 2012 racing schedule. The highlight of the schedule is the TD Bank 250 on July 22. NASCAR star Kyle Busch won the 2011 edition of the TD Bank 250, defeating the top Late Model pilots from around the region.
“Since 2004, the TD Bank 250 has attracted a number of Sprint Cup competitors. July 22, 2012, again falls on an off weekend for the Sprint Cup, so it is likely Oxford fans will have the opportunity to see a NASCAR star try and take the checkers,” Speedway owner Bill Ryan said. (more…)

CARQUEST Super Saturday.
