race. In the 4 races since, Szegedy and crew have notched 2 wins and 4

BEALES TAKE TWO AGAIN AT SPEEDWAY 95

Travis and Danielle Beale, a racing couple from Hampden, each won their respective feature events at Speedway 95 Wednesday night. It was the second time this year they’ve both been in victory lane on the same night.

Danielle Beale won first as she led the Ladies 20 lap feature from the pole position to the checkered flag. She received a strong challenge from Becky Elston of Carmel over the final 5 laps, but was able to hold on to the lead for the win. Elston finished second, followed by Winterport’s Chelsea Young in third, who battled Elston for most of the race for the position. Fourth went to Kayla Allen of Bucksport, with Amy Hood of Howland finishing fifth.

Beech Ridge ACTBeech Ridge ACTBeech Ridge ACT

Waterbury, VT – Beech Ridge Motor Speedway (BRMS) in Scarborough, ME is perhaps the most neutral track the American Canadian Tour (ACT) visits during the season-long touring campaign. There will be no weekly teams that enter the event; by design, it might be compared to Oxford Plains Speedway, but veterans will tell you that is not true; it races as good as any track the Tour visits; and the atmosphere from the staff and management to the fans is first class. The food is also some of the best.

Oxford Plains Speedway

OXFORD, Maine – Scott Mulkern of Falmouth, Maine, finished 11th in the PASS North Series’ return to Oxford Plains Speedway, the Brackett Mechanical 150 on Saturday, July 23. After needing to qualify through the consi to start 27th in the main event, Mulkern moved up a full 16 spots without the aid of a caution flag over the first half of the race.
