Fredericton N.B. – This weekend Speedway 660 will welcome some of the best sportsman cars in Atlantic Canada as they prepare for the highly anticipated Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman 100.
Michael Banks of Lake George will be looking to win the 100 lapper in back-to-back seasons, while Ken MacKenzie of Salisbury and Glyn Nott of Burton will aim to take the title after finishing second and third in 2010. South Plattsburgh – Airborne Speedway will celebrate the 4th of July holiday on Saturday, July 2, with five divisions of stock car races and one of New York state’s largest fireworks displays, promoter Mike Perrotte announced today.
The pyrotechnics will be produced and directed by Plattsburgh chiropractor Joseph “Dr. Joe” Clauss and Sons. “We’ve arranged for some extra bulldozing to prepare the launch sites as an added safety precaution because this year’s display will be much bigger and longer than last year’s show, which was very well-received,” he said. PASS North makes first Autodrome Chaudiere appearance Saturday
Naples ME (6/20) The Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North super late models will once again make their way across the Canadian border for their first ever stop at Autodrome Chaudiere in Lavallee Jonction Quebec this Saturday, June 25. Hudson NH – Defending Outlaw Sportsmen champion Geoff Rollins picked up his second win in as many races on a picture perfect Fathers Day at Hudson International Speedway on June 19th. Long-time racer Matt “Junk Yard Dawg” Bosowski led the opening laps until 14 year old Derek Griffith grabbed the top spot. Rollins had rolled into second place by lap five and gave chase to Griffith. Rollins smoked his outside rear tire off every corner while closing in on Griffith who was starting to overheat. Rollins got beside Griffith going down the back chute and was able to complete the pass on the next lap. (more…)

NORTH WOODSTOCK, N.H. – Brian Hoar of Williston, Vt., captured his fifthTop-5 finish in five ACT Late Model Tour starts this season with a 4th-place finish in White Mountain 150 at White Mountain Motorsports Park on Saturday, June 18. Hoar started third in the 31-car field and ran as high as second on a Lap 99 restart in the RPM Motorsports No. 37 GossCars.com Dodge. He never fell out of the Top-5 at any point during the event.
