season set to kick off in a little more than a month’s time, Stafford
Springs native J.J. Hill is excited about his chances in Stafford’s Late
Model division. Last season saw Hill capture his first career victory in

looking to use that win as the building foundation for a run at a top-5

Monadnock Shows Interest In Granite State Pro-Stock Series

Canaan, NH — As he did back in 2003 when he threw his support at the new Modified Racing Series, Monadnock Speedway promotor Larry Cirillo has agreed to two race dates for the new Granite State Pro-Stock Series.

Series director John Hoyt has announced a meeting was held this past week opening the door for a visit to the Winchester, NH., speedway for two dates and possibly a third.

NSCS Race Recap: Kyle Busch Completes Weekend Sweep At Bristol

BRISTOL, Tenn.—The question isn’t whether Kyle Busch will win at Bristol Motor Speedway—it’s whether anyone else can find a way to keep him out of victory lane.

First off pit road after stops under caution on Lap 429, Busch held off polesitter Carl Edwards and defending race winner Jimmie Johnson to win his fifth straight race in NASCAR’s top three national series at the .533-mile short track.

(Stafford Springs, CT)—For Stafford Late Model competitor Dillon Moltz,
the dawn of a new racing season has brought he and his team some great news.
Moltz’s #94 team has renewed their agreement with AAA Driver Training to
return as their primary sponsor for the 2011 season and will once again
challenge for the track championship. The news couldn’t have come at a
better time for Moltz and his team, who weren’t sure if they would be racing
at all this year.

NNS Race Recap: Kyle Busch Triumphs At Bristol, Leads 10,000th Lap

BRISTOL, Tenn.—So what else is new? Kyle Busch hit another milestone in Saturday’s Scotts EZ Seed 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Yes, he won the race. That’s almost a given in the NASCAR Nationwide Series these days. The victory was Busch’s second of the year and the 45th of his career, leaving him four behind Mark Martin (idle Saturday) for the career lead.

OXFORD, Maine – It has been more than three years since Oxford Plains Speedway has been the site of a car/bike show but, that all ends on May 29, 2011 as the “Awesome Auto and BikeFest” makes it’s debut at the historic Oxford oval on Memorial Day weekend.

“We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to once again play host to hundreds of classic car and bike enthusiasts from across northern New England” Speedway owner Bill Ryan said. “We’re working with Spencer Richie Owner and publisher of CruiseMaine and RideMaine magazines to bring a high caliber car and bike show back to the speedway.”
