KURT BUSCH READY FOR “SPEED WEEKS 2011” AT DAYTONA

-NASCAR’s 2004 Champ Anticipating “Wild & Wide-Open” Races On Daytona’s Fresh Pavement-

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Feb. 8, 2011) – Kurt Busch, driver of the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Dodge out of the Penske Racing stable, says that Speed Weeks 2011 at Daytona International Speedway could present the most excitement that fans have witnessed since the track staged its first stock car race back on Feb. 22, 1959.

“It will be wild and wide-open racing, that’s for sure,” said Busch, the 2004 NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion who will be competing in both the Feb. 12 Budweiser Shootout and Feb. 20 Daytona 500 on the 2.5-mile tri-oval. “With the new pavement, you can pretty much throw the handling aspect out the window.”

Lakes Region Ice Racing Club – Grandfather and Granddaughter Shine – Milton connectio

Moultonboro, NH – A warm February afternoon made a great day to be out on a lake, but the ice conditions challenged the ice racers from the Lakes Region Ice Racing Club . Some of the best racing so far this season was about to take place.

First out were the Rear Wheel division cars and pickups. Matt Morrill (9) of Moultonboro mounted a serious challenge to Tim Chase (40) of Northfield, but Tim continued his string of victories with Matt settling for second place, at least for this week. Kris Jacques, in his #63 NAPA pickup, finished third.

SARA LOCASCIO IS NEWEST MEMBER OF SK LIGHT MODIFIED ROOKIE CLASS AT STAFFORD SPEEDWAY

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Sara Locascio, from Carmel, NY, is the newest
member of the 2011 SK Light Modified rookie class at Stafford. Locascio has
competed against the likes of Tommy Barrett, Jr., Matt Galko, and Dylan
Liseo in the quarter midget ranks and she will now once again compete
against them on the track in the #02 Shear Moritz Hair Design Chevrolet.
Barrett, Galko, and Liseo each found their way into victory lane last season
with Galko winning the championship as well. Locascio hopes that she can
