Alex Labbé Outruns Three Champions For First Série ACT Castrol Win
Montmagny, QC – Sophomore driver Alex Labbé of St-Albert, QC earned his first career Série ACT Castrol win in a 250 lap event at Autodrome Montmagny in Montmagny, QC on Saturday, July 2. Labbé started ninth in the 22 car field and outran three Série ACT Castrol Champions (Donald Theetge, Karl Allard and Patrick Laperle) for the win. MILTON, Vt. – Coming off an impressive Top-5 finish at Thunder Road International Speedbowl last Sunday afternoon, Brent Dragon feels like his combined effort this season is finally rounding into form.

Barre, VT – Graniteville’s John Donahue stole the CARQUEST Vermont Governor’s Cup 100 win with a heads-up move at Thunder Road International Speedbowl in Barre, VT on Sunday, June 26. Donahue was running second to defending “King of the Road” and VT Governor’s Cup Champion Nick Sweet when three cars spun in turn four near the back of the pack spun on the 84th circuit.
By the time Sweet and Donahue reached turn three, all three cars were making their way back onto the track. Sweet lifted expecting a caution, but Donahue never lifted and took the lead when no caution was thrown. Donahue took the lead and never looked back, while Sweet had to settle for second. (more…)

Oxford, ME. – ACT Late Model Series Driver #97 Joey Polewarczyk Jr of Hudson N.H. readies himself to return to one of his favorite tracks that the American-Canadian Tour visits each year, Oxford Plains Speedway.

NORTH WOODSTOCK, N.H. – Brian Hoar of Williston, Vt., captured his fifthTop-5 finish in five ACT Late Model Tour starts this season with a 4th-place finish in White Mountain 150 at White Mountain Motorsports Park on Saturday, June 18. Hoar started third in the 31-car field and ran as high as second on a Lap 99 restart in the RPM Motorsports No. 37 GossCars.com Dodge. He never fell out of the Top-5 at any point during the event.
