July 23, 2011- The first Enduro of the year proved to be nothing less than a crowd pleaser with non-stop action including a record 6 rollovers including 3 spectacular barrel rolls. Each segment was more entertaining than the previous with the 50 lap finale being the best of the best.

First ENDURO race under the lights this Saturday Night

Fredericton N.B. – After a successful stretch of racing in the regular divisions at Speedway 660, fans will be entertained by another great night of racing with a change from the usual Saturday nights under the lights.

This weekend the first ENDURO race of the season will run alongside the ENDURO 4 Cylinder Run’em Dry event. Unlike regular weeks of racing fans can expect to see a variety of crashes and wrecks as drivers fight to finish the 200 laps. There is not limit to the number of entries in the ENDURO 200 so fans can expect to see a track filled of cars all smashing and crashing to get to lap 200.

Fahey dominates Best of the Best, Maillet takes Sportsman 100

Greg Fahey of St. Stephen dominated the Best of the Best Pro Stock 150, winning a provisional berth in the Auto Value 250 on SPEEDWEEKEND.

Leading every of the 150 lap feature, Fahey was coming off a second place finish in the Parts for Trucks 100 last weekend where he led nearly every lap before Shawn Tucker passed him late for the win. This week Fahey was relentless, even with some pressure in the first 75 laps from Chris Duncan of Hampton.

STEWART RECORDS AOW MODIFIED GRAND SLAM WHILE SMITH PICKS UP SECOND STRAIGHT FEATURE WIN AT CFS

(Shediac, N.B.) — Shelly Stewart (#43) of Emerald, PEI showed the boys how to get it done by recording a grand slam during the Area Food Bank Atlantic Open Wheel (AOW) Modified stock car racing event held at the Centre for Speed’s (CFS) in Grand Barachois, N.B. on Sunday afternoon.

Meanwhile, James Smith (#50) of Riverview picked up his second career feature win in the 35-lap Shediac Sportsman / Streetstock to go along with a first place finish in the heat.

Patrick Laperle Takes Third Série ACT Castrol Win of the Season at Autodrome St-Eustache

St-Eustache, QC – Patrick Laperle of St-Denis, QC held off defending Série ACT Castrol Champion Karl Allard for his third Série win of the season in the 200 lap event at Autodrome St-Eustache on Saturday, July 16. Laperle came from the 14th starting position to take the lead from Allard on lap 104. Just 11 laps later on the sixth caution of the event, Laperle handed the lead back to Allard while pitting for tires. (more…)

NASCAR’s Mr Excitement has announced his intentions to enter the 11th Annual Auto Value 250 at Speedway 660. Spencer will join a strong list of Southern Stars who have competed in the Labour Day Classic. Over the past several years fans have seen Sterling Marlin, Johnny Benson, Terry & Justin Labonte and Ron Hornaday take battle against the best Pro Stock teams in the Northeast.
