Darveau, Burgess best in Unity Raceway competition
Second-generation racer Poncho Darveau of Chelsea came back after some time away from the sport just a week prior to claiming victory in the 35-lap Late Model feature, topping the stock car racing card at Unity Raceway Saturday night.
Other feature event winners included Ricky Burgess, Jr. (Waterville), Andy Turbovsky (Winslow), Mike Mason (Skowhegan), Mike Wilson (Chelsea), Zach Audet (New Sharon), Mika Wilson (Chelsea), Jayson Bosworth (Cornville) and Donny Silva (Hudson).

Vaughn, Dow and Beaulieu Claim Saturday PASS 400 Weekend wins
Scarborough ME (9/11) Day three of PASS 400 weekend was highlighted by qualifying for all three PASS North touring divisions plus features for the Legends, Road Runners and Wildcats.
144 race cars rolled through the Beech Ridge Motor Speedway back gate and from the first green to the final checker the fans in the stands witnessed short track racing at its finest.
Tom Scully Jr., Joey Doiron, David Oliver and PASS Super Late Model point leader Johnny Clark all claimed their qualifiers. Super Late Model consolation rounds went to PASS National Series point leader Preston Peltier and 2009 PASS North Rookie of the Year Nick Ribbe. Sunday’s Last Chance race will determine the final qualifiers for the 300 lap, $10,000 to win PASS 300.

New venues, added value highlight 2010-2011 schedule for East Coast Snocross Series
CHESHIRE, Conn. (Sept. 10, 2010) — As the days grow shorter and the overnight temperatures start to drop, powersports enthusiasts around the northeast are turning their thoughts to snowmobiling. While fall chores may come first, it won’t be long before trails are cleared and signs are put up.

Thursday Night Open gets PASS 400 Weekend off to a fast start
NAPLES ME (9/10) The stars of Maine’s mid week racing series took the spot light Thursday, opening four days of motorsports mania at Scarborough Maine’s Beech Ridge Motor Speedway.120 of the fast and furious racers answered the call to get the sixth annual PASS 400 party started in style.
The Four Cylinders kicked off the night with a fifty lap feature and a thirty-one car field. Kyle Hewins made it two in a row on PASS 400 Thursday night, surviving a torrid battle with Troy Jordan. The pair worked lap traffic for much of the night and Jordan got the better of Hewins from laps 11 to 26 but Hewins was able to drive under Morse to reclaim the lead. The pair put on a show as they worked lap traffic, splitting slower cars and battling for the $500.00 payday e but into the end it was Hewins by 6 car lengths.

Record Payday for Johnny Clark

Fredericton, NB – The biggest motorsports event in Atlantic Canada once again did not disappoint with a record crowd of over 8000 attending the Auto Value 250 and a dominating performance by Johnny Clark. Thirty seven cars attempted to qualify for just 28 spots. Clark who qualified through his heat started 5th on the starting grid and made his way to the front just 17 laps into the main event. Pole sitter Shawn Turple would lead the initial 16 laps but the 54 of Clark tracked him down in dominating fashion.

Johnny Clark Dominates Auto Value 250
Clark Pockets More Than $26,000 In Win At Speedway 660
GEARY, N.B. — Johnny Clark couldn’t have scripted it any better. Heck, even noted Hollywood director Steven Spielberg couldn’t have.
Clark thoroughly dominated the competition Sunday night at Speedway 660, leading all but a handful of laps en route to his second career Auto Value 250 win. Counting the win purse, the bonus paid to the leader at the halfway mark and lap leader earnings, Clark pocketed a total of $26,300 in the open competition for Super Late Model/Pro Stock cars.
The four-time PASS North Series champion and current series points leader previously won the Auto Value 250 in 2007.
