Polewarczyk needed to qualify through the consolation round after a mechanical issue in his heat race, leaving him in 25th starting spot. He rallied for his first top-10 finish of the season and first top-10 with a Ford Racing crate engine.

The 16-year-old Theriault, who is competing for the series’ Rookie of the Year award in 2010, rallied from 18th starting spot to earn his first top-10 in a touring series race of any kind.

Austin Theriault of Fort Kent, Maine, continues his drive to become the ACT Late Model Tour Rookie of the Year when the series heads to the NH Governor’s Cup 150 at Lee USA Speedway in Lee, N.H., on Friday, June 11. The 16-year-old Theriault made his 2010 debut at Oxford Plains Speedway last month, leading laps early in the race before finishing 16th. He heads to Lee USA having competed there last weekend in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Late Model event.

Joey Polewarczyk Jr. will try and earn Ford Racing its first ACT Late Model Tour victory when he heads to the NH Governor’s Cup 150 at Lee USA Speedway in Lee, N.H., on Friday, June 11 — the first night race of the ACT season. It’s been a rough go for Polewarczyk through the first two events of the year, including a DNQ at Oxford Plains Speedway in May, but he’s hoping to rebound at one of his best tracks on the circuit. The 2008 winner of the NH Governor’s Cup 150 at Lee, Polewarczyk finished second in the event last year.

Full Card of Racing at Monadnock Speedway
Winchester, NH: Due to the weather reports of severe storms and tornados this past Saturday, the management of Monadnock Speedway was forced to cancel the race event for the safety of all.

The cancellation set a very busy race schedule for the next two weeks. This Saturday, June 12th, the speedway will host a full venue of racing. The night will be filled with action from the Modifieds, Sportsman Modifieds, Outlaw Pros, Super Stocks, Mini Stocks, Young Guns, 4-cylinder and Full Size Enduros along with visiting tours of the N.E. Truck Series and New England Antique Racers.
