BKR Development Driver Looks To Build On Recent Milwaukee Effort
After a quick trip home to New England over the weekend, Austin Theriault is back in the midwest – and back in the Brad Keselowski Racing No. 29 Checkered Flag Foundation Dodge – this week.
One week after an impressive effort at the historic Milwaukee Mile, Theriault is set to tackle the CRA Super Series 4th annual Rowdy 251 at Berlin Raceway in Marne, Mich., on Tuesday night.

Series only visit to the Pine Tree State comes on June 23
The Granite State Pro Stock Series will head to the Pine Tree State on Saturday, June 23 to visit the tricky one-third mile Unity Raceway in Unity, ME for race number two of the season. Over 20 cars are expected for the 112-lap main event and the series only appearance in the state of Maine in 2012.
Drivers from all across New England are expected to travel to Maine’s toughest oval, including 15-year old Derek Griffith of Hudson, NH. Griffith scored a second place finish in his first Pro Stock race in the season opening David’s House 106 at Monadnock Speedway.

The weather finally turned around for the North East Mini Stock Tour after a disappointing rainout on June 2nd at Waterford Speedbowl the sun was bright and skies were clear as 19 tour type mini stocks rolled into Twin State Speedway in Claremont, NH.
As the first round of practice started NHMS winner and current NEMST point leader Mike Mason experienced car troubles that required him be pushed of the track. As the rest of the competitors dialed their machines in for the race a few fast stand outs prevailed from the pack to set the mark others were reaching for.
Once the rest of the divisions finished practice the NEMST officials held a drivers meeting and also revealed the starting lineup for the heats races according to draw. John Kelly was also drawn to win the Tater’s NASCAR Cash bonus of $70. The NEMST unveiled new Texas Roadhouse North East Mini Stock Tour sweatshirts available and many fans and crew members purchased their copies.

Vinney Esposito of Waterbury CT, takes his first win from points leader Duane Noll of Monroe CT, in the 25-Lap New England Truck Series feature race last Saturday night at the Waterford Speedbowl.
On the pole #151 Ford of Bert Ouellette with the # 11 Chevy of Vinney Esposito on the outside set the pace as they rolled off turn four starting NETS feature race. Before getting to turn three, Vinney took over the lead position from Ouellette with #2 Chevy of Duane Noll in tow. On lap nine, #75 of Corey Coates takes third place position with Ouellette and #8 Dodge of Tom Metcalf following behind. On lap fifteen, with mechanical failure, the #6 Chevy Truck of Mike Ledoux had to park for the night. By lap nineteen, the #21x Chevy of Jason Lafayette takes over fourth position with Metcalf, Ouellette and #19 Chevy of Nate Bubello of MA .

Donald Theetge of Boischatel, QC earned his second straight Série ACT Castrol win at Circuit Riverside Speedway in St-Croix, QC on Saturday, June 16. Theetge was the class of the field all day and worked his way from the 12th starting position for the win. He held off the likes of former Castrol Champions Patrick Laperle and Karl Allard over several caution periods during the 100 lap event. It was Theetge’s 18th career Série ACT Castrol win, which keeps him atop the all-time wins list.
Jonathan Bouvrette snatched the lead from the outside pole on the first lap, but held it only through lap 7. Laperle started in the seventh position and was running third by the completion of the first lap. He made his way to the point on lap 8 and began building a healthy lead before the first caution of the event came on lap 20. The first caution was a three minute and 30 second red flag period as the track safety workers repaired holes in the asphalt in turns one and two.

West Haven, VT – Craig Bushey of Fairfax, VT dominated the early stages of the “I Am Vermont Strong 100” at Devil’s Bowl Speedway on Friday, June 15. Bushey started in the 4th position and took the lead from outside pole sitter Brent Dragon on lap 10. Following the first caution with just ten laps complete, the event saw just one more caution over the next 83 circuits.
Bushey created a sizable lead as he worked his way through heavy lapped traffic and had all but the top five in the field lapped before the third caution of the event came on lap 93. Dragon had also worked his way through the lapped traffic and reached Bushey’s bumper just before the lap 93 caution. The two appeared to be setup for a final seven lap dash to the checkers.
