Seekonk, Mass. – Gary Sagar and Kraze Korlacki Speed Equipment have announced, a 2nd annual U.S. Pro Stock/Super Late Model National Championship Race has been scheduled for Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at Seekonk Speedway, Seekonk, Massachusetts.

Sagar stated the success of the race, the exciting last lap win, and the positive feedback from both fans and competitors alike, made the decision easy to go forward and to again pay a purse to include $10,000 being awarded the winner of next years race.

Winchester, NH. — It was a perfect lead-in to the tracks annual fireworks presentation. The final 9-laps were explosive as drivers made their last run at a strong finish. Chris Pasteryak dove under David Schneider to fifth, Todd Patnode, dove under Steve Masse for a podium finish, but it was the battle for the win that was the grand finale.

Russ Hersey, of Swanzey, NH, dominated the annual Valenti Modified Racing Series ‘Firecracker 100’ at his home track taking the lead on lap-21 and holding it until a last lap showdown with Jon McKennedy, of E.Chelmsford, MA, before a large crowd at Monadnock Speedway Saturday night July 2.

Oxford, ME. — Two Massachusetts racers shared top honors Saturday night, June 18, when Anthony Nocella of Woburn, and Jon McKennedy, of East Chelmsford, each captured wins in the Valenti Modified Racing Series twin 50-lap feature races at Oxford Plains Speedway, Oxford, ME.

In the first 50-lap go, Chris Pasteryak, of Jewett City, CT, started on the pole and led the opening 9-laps when Dan Meservey Jr, of Chatham, MA. took command until lap 19.

Canaan, NH. — After a three week layoff following the first race of the new season at Monadnock Speedway in New Hampshire, the Valenti Modified Racing Series heads to the famed Stafford Motor Speedway, Stafford Springs, Connecticut, Friday May 20.

The series will compete in an 80-lap feature race.

Reigning series champion, Woody Pitkat, of Sturbridge, Massachusetts, leads the list of entries for the first of three scheduled events this season at the historical half-mile.
